How Does It Work?
A door sensor alarm system typically has two main components:
- The Indoor Alarm Receiver: This unit acts as an alarm buzzer. It receives a signal from the door sensor and activates an alarm (adjustable from 0-110dB). It also features a flashing LED indicator, making it easy to locate even in the dark. The receiver simply plugs into an AC outlet.
- The Door Sensor: This sensor transmits a signal to the receiver when its two parts are separated by no more than 0.8 inches. A blue light flashes on the sensor when it transmits a signal. It can be installed on windows or doors. The product has a built-in battery, which will need to be replaced when depleted.

- Remove the old battery and replace it with a new 23A 12V alkaline battery, ensuring it is installed correctly according to the internal structure of the battery compartment.
- Slide the cover back down to lock the battery compartment, preventing it from dislodging due to door vibrations.
