III Operation instruction

1.Assembly

NOTE: This heater is packed with two caster assemblies that must be installed between the radiator fins at each end of the base pipe to make the unit portable and operable. Do not use heater in any other orientation other than upright.

  1. Be sure the heater is unplugged and off.
  2. Keep cord out of the way by winding it around the cord wrap.
  3. Turn heater upside down and place the two metal U-shaped bolts over the base pipe, between the radiator fins on either end of the heater, so the screw threads extend beyond the pipe.
  4. Position assembly bracket so the two slots on the bracket line up with the two screws on the end of the heater.
  5. Set each assembly bracket over the threaded end of each U-shaped screw and fasten them securely in place with wing nuts.
  6. Turn the heater upright.

2.Operating instruction

Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool before handling.

Never pull the unit by the cord - use the handle. During the first few minutes of initial use, you may notice a slight odor. This is normal and will quickly disappear. Place the heater only on the floor. It radiates heat in all directions. Always leave ample space around it (3 feet / 0.9 m) so it is not too close to a wall.

a. Plug the heater into a standard AC outlet.

CAUTION: Be sure that no other appliances are plugged into same circuit with the heater as a circuit overload could occur.

b. There are 3 power levels indicated. Press switch I for power level 1 600W and switch II for power level 2 900W. When both switches are on this indicates power level 3 1500W.

c. To set the desired temperature for the room, turn the temperature control knob clockwise to increase the temperature and counterclockwise to lower the temperature.

d. When heater is no longer required, turn the temperature control knob to the lowest setting. Then switch off the power indicator switches.

Note: Once the heater has cooled wrap the cord into the cord warp. Use the handle to move the heater to a new location and store in a cool dry location.

4.During season care:

a. Before cleaning, be sure to turn off and unplug the heater;

b. Carefully wipe the unit with a soft damp cloth. Please be very cautious near the motor and heating elements;

c. Do not immerse the heater in water;

d. Never use gasoline, benzene or thinner. This will damage the surface of the heater;

After cleaning, be sure to completely dry the unit with a cloth or towel.

Note: Do not use waxes or brush polish, since these will react with the heater, resulting in discoloration.

After season care:

a. Store heater in a cool and dry location with power cord properly secured;

b. Please store the unit in its original carton or suitable container.

Note: Do not attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions in this unit; do not remove knob parts from the heater.
