Introduction
This guide provides instructions for setting up and using the Logitech G715 Wireless Gaming Keyboard.
The keyboard features LIGHTSPEED wireless and Bluetooth connectivity, customizable RGB lighting, media controls, and a detachable magnetic wrist rest.
What's in the Box
The box typically contains:

- LIGHTSPEED USB Receiver
- USB-C Charging Cable
- Wrist Rest
- User Documentation
Setup Instructions
- Connect via LIGHTSPEED:
Remove the LIGHTSPEED receiver from its storage slot.
Insert the LIGHTSPEED receiver, with the extender and cable, into a USB port on your PC. The receiver can also be inserted directly into a USB port without the extender if desired.
- Power On:
Turn on the keyboard by sliding the power button. The Connection button will light up to a cyan color.
- Install G HUB Software:
Download and install the G HUB software from www.logitechG.com/ghub for the best gaming experience and access to features.
Bluetooth® Connectivity
- Power On:
Turn on the keyboard by sliding the power button.
- Pair via Bluetooth®:
Press the Connection button to cycle to Bluetooth®. The light will turn light blue and flash quickly, indicating it is ready to pair.
Follow the Bluetooth® connection instructions on your device to pair with the keyboard.
Charging Your Keyboard
- Insert the USB-C cable into the port at the front of the keyboard.
- Connect the cable to your PC.
The battery indicator light will pulse green while charging and turn solid green when fully charged.
Keyboard Features
Media Controls
The G715 includes dedicated media controls: Skip back, play/pause, skip forward, and mute. It also features a volume roller to control your device's volume.
Game Mode
Pressing the Game Mode button blocks the Windows and Menu keys to prevent accidental presses during gameplay. Additional keys can be blocked using the G HUB software.
Brightness
Adjust the lighting brightness by pressing the brightness button.
Onboard Lighting Effects
The keyboard has 8 different lighting effects stored in its onboard memory. You can select and modify these by pressing the Brightness button and the corresponding number keys:
- Brightness + 1 = Rainbow > right
- Brightness + 2 = Rainbow > left
- Brightness + 3 = Rainbow center out
- Brightness + 4 = Rainbow ^ up
- Brightness + 5 = Color cycle
- Brightness + 6 = Keystroke ripple
- Brightness + 7 = Breathing cyan
- Brightness + 8 = Custom lighting effect
- Brightness + 9 = Custom lighting effect
- Brightness + 0 = Solid cyan
- Brightness + - = Animation slower
- Brightness + = = Animation faster
Note: G HUB lighting controls will override these onboard settings.
Changing the Top Plate
The top plate of the G715 can be removed and replaced with optional accessory top plates to customize the keyboard's appearance.
Switching Between LIGHTSPEED and Bluetooth® Devices
Once connected, press the connect button to toggle between LIGHTSPEED and Bluetooth® connections. The indicator light will be cyan for LIGHTSPEED and blue for Bluetooth®.
