4. Getting Started
4.1 Installing the Dash Cam Mount
Mount the camera in a safe, appropriate location where it will not obstruct the driver's view. Clean your windshield once you've chosen a location. Peel the sticker off the back of the 3M adhesive and firmly apply the mount to your chosen location on the windshield. Wait at least 20 minutes before attaching the dash cam to the mount. Then, slide the camera into the mount until it clicks into place.

4.2 Inserting a Memory Card
Note: Using an incompatible card may damage the device, the memory card, or corrupt the data stored on it. Always use a compatible memory card. Always power down the device before removing the memory card. The manufacturer's warranty does not cover any losses, including loss of data, due to the use of a damaged or a corrupt memory card.
Rexing V360 accepts “High-endurance” Micro SD memory cards (class 10 or higher) with a maximum capacity of 256GB. Depending on the memory card manufacturer and type, some cards may not be compatible with your device. Using an incompatible card may damage the device or the memory card, or corrupt the data stored on it.

4.3 Powering the Camera and Formatting the Memory Card
1. Powering the Camera:
Connect your camera to your vehicle via the included car charging cable to power your camera and charge the battery while driving. Connect the charger to the car cigarette lighter or 12V DC power outlet, then insert the Mini-USB end of the charger into the Mini-USB port on the camera.
Diagram shows the dash cam connected to the car charger, which is plugged into a car's cigarette lighter socket.
- You should always connect the camera to a power source while recording. The internal battery is primarily used to save files in the event of an emergency and can handle a maximum of 15 minutes of disconnected operation.
- If the battery is completely depleted, the device will not turn on immediately when the charger is connected. Allow a depleted battery to charge for at least 5 minutes before attempting to turn on the device.
- If the device receives an unstable power supply while charging, the screen may not function properly. Unplug the charger if this occurs.
- While charging, the device may heat up; this is normal and should not affect performance or lifespan.
- If the device is not charging properly, contact an authorized Rexing Service Center or Customer Care.
Warning: Connecting the charger improperly may cause serious damage to the device. Any damage caused by misuse is not covered by the warranty. Use only Rexing-approved chargers. Using unapproved chargers or cables can damage the device or cause the battery to explode.
2. Formatting the Memory Card
Important! Always back up important data stored on the memory card before formatting. For best results, format the memory card using the Format function on the camera. The manufacturer's warranty does not cover loss of data resulting from user actions.
