Know Your Coffee Maker

Using Your Vacuum Cold Brew Coffee Maker
Step 1: Prepare Coffee Grinds
1. Lift the Lever. ⬆️
2. Add coffee grinds into the coffee basket. Maximum coffee weight is 60 grams.
Note: Gourmia recommends starting with 20 ounces of water and 50 grams of coffee. Adjust measurements according to your preference.
Step 2: Assemble Coffee Basket
3. Place the coffee filter lid inside the coffee basket above the coffee grinds. ✔️
4. Screw the coffee basket lid onto the coffee basket until it locks into place. For best results, make sure the lid is screwed on tightly. ?
Step 3: Place Basket in Water Chamber
5. Place the coffee basket into the water chamber. Align the open lock icon ? with the arrow on the inside of the water chamber and turn clockwise to align the lock icon with the arrow. ➡️
Step 4: Add Water
6. Add room temperature water to the water chamber and place it on the middle base. Turn the water chamber clockwise to lock it into place. Align the lock icon with the arrow on the middle base. ➡️
Note: The minimum amount of water is 10 ounces / 2 cups and the maximum is 25 ounces / 5 cups.

Step 5: Final Assembly
7. Place the water chamber lid on top of the water chamber. ⬆️
8. Push the lever down. ⬇️
9. Place the coffee carafe onto the base plate. ☕
10. Plug in the appliance. ?
Step 6: Select Strength and Start
11. Press the power button to turn on the machine. Then choose your brewing strength by pressing one of the preset options.
To customize the strength, use the custom strength controls to increase or decrease the brewing time from 2 minutes to 30 minutes. The controls will increase / decrease the brewing time in 15 second increments.
12. Press the start button ▶️ to begin.
13. The coffee will release into the coffee carafe when the brewing cycle is complete.
Note: During the brewing cycle, you can press the release button to release your cold brew coffee.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning Steps
- 1. Lift up the lever and remove the coffee basket. ⬆️
- 2. Pour cold water into the water chamber and put the water chamber lid back on. ?
- 3. Run a few cycles to clean out the cold brew. ⚙️
- 4. The carafe, water chamber lid, coffee basket lid, coffee filter lid, coffee basket, and water chamber can all be cleaned in a dishwasher ? or with warm soapy water and rinsed thoroughly.
Note: Never immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid. ❌
Storage
- • Make sure all parts are clean and dry. ✔️

Environment
Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but hand it in at an official collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve the environment. ♻️

This Limited Warranty is for one full year from the date of purchase. It is applicable to the original purchaser only and is not transferable to a third-party user. Repair or replacement of defective parts is solely at the seller's discretion. In the event that repair isn't possible, the seller will replace the product/part. If product repair/replacement won't suffice, the seller has the option of refunding the cash value of the product or component returned.
Product defects not covered under the Warranty provisions include normal wear and damage incurred from use or accidental negligence, misuse of instruction specifications, or repair by unauthorized parties. The manufacturing company is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages incurred by such circumstances.
