FIG 1 Plastic covers FIG 3 Cover removed Splash guard (Fig 1) Remove splash guard (arrow). Model with plastic bumper cover pictured. STEP 2 Determine if the vehicle is equipped with plastic bumper cover or steel option bumper panel (1) Models with plastic bumper cover: Remove the plastic covers from the front of the bumper, (Figs 1 & 2). (2) Models with optional steel bumper: Remove the covers surrounding the tow hooks, (Fig 3). FIG 2 Plastic cover removed Unplug wiring harness leading to the front bumper (Fig 3) Model with steel bumper, remove cover from bumper (driver/left side pictured) STEP 3 Unplug the wiring harness leading to the front bumper. NOTE: Harness plug is located behind the driver/left side of the bumper below the headlight, (Fig 3). STEP 4 From the front, remove the factory hex bolts attaching the bumper assembly to the end of the frame, (Figs 2--4). NOTE: Use assistance to hold the bumper in place while removing the mounting bolts. FIG 4 (Fig 2) Models with plastic bumper cover (see Fig 1), remove plastic cover from bumper (driver/left side pictured) (Fig 4) Remove factory hex bolts from front to remove bumper assembly www.rynoskinauto.com Page 2 of 11 Rev. 9/18/23 (JH) STEP 5 On models with plastic bumper only, remove the seals around the lower tow hooks. STEP 6 Temporarily unplug and remove the shutter assembly, (Fig 4--6) Models with ACC (adaptive cruise control) sensor: a. Remove the sensor from the front of the shutter assembly, (Fig 6). b. Release the wiring harness from the clips on the back of the shutter assembly, (Fig 7). c. Reroute the ACC plug end of the harness down through the hole in the top of the shutter assembly and out through the front, (Fig 8 & 12). Models with ACC sensor (pictured), unplug and remove sensor from shutter assembly FIG 7 (Fig 7) Models with ACC sensor, release the clips attaching the wiring harness to the sensor (arrows) FIG 8 Front www.rynoskinauto.com (Fig 8) Models with ACC sensor, insert the ACC plug end down through the hole in the top of the shutter assembly and out through the front (arrowalso see Fig 12) Page 3 of 11 Rev. 9/18/23 (JH) STEP 7 Remove the plastic nuts attaching the factory triple nut plate to the back of the driver/left bumper mounting flange on the end of the frame, (Fig 9). Passenger/right side pictured FIG 11 Front (Fig 11) Driver/left side Outer Support Bracket pictured STEP 9 Repeat Steps 7 & 8 to attach the passenger/right Inner and Outer Support Brackets. STEP 8 Select the driver/left inner and outer Support Brackets, (Fig 10). Attach the Support Brackets to the sides of the frame with the included (1) 10mm x 110mm Hex Bolt, (2) 10mm x 30mm Large Flat Washers, (1) 10mm Lock Washer and (1) 10mm Hex Nut, (Figs 10 & 11). Push Support Brackets up against back of flange on frame, (Fig 11). FIG 10 Front Outer Bracket STEP 10 Reattach the shutter assembly to the vehicle, (Fig 12). Plug shutter harness back into main harness, (Fig 5). FIG 12 Front Inner Bracket 10mm x 110mm Hex Bolt (2) 10mm Large Flat Washers 10mm Lock Washer 10mm Hex Nut (Fig 10) Attach driver/left Inner and Outer Support Brackets to end of frame (Fig 12) Models with ACC sensor, reinstall shutter assembly. Gently pull end of harness out through front of shutter assembly until it stops www.rynoskinauto.com Page 4 of 11 Rev. 9/18/23 (JH) STEP 11 Carefully unwrap the Bumper and Winch Tray. FIG 13 STEP 12.1 Determine if the vehicle is equipped with ACC sensor (Adaptive Cruise Control), and parking sensors. Models with ACC sensor: a. Gently pull the end of the harness out from the shutter assembly, (Fig 12). Do not pull out the harness, only extend the plug end of the harness. b. Select the rectangular Sensor Mounting Bracket, (Fig 13). Attach the ACC sensor to the front of the Bracket with the included (3) 6mm x 20mm Button Head Bolts, (6) 6mm Flat Washers, (3) 6mm Lock Washers and (3) 6mm Hex Nuts, (Figs 14 & 15). c. Hold the ACC sensor and Bracket up to the back of the Bumper Mount. Attach the Plastic Cover to the front and ACC sensor and Bracket to the back with the included (4) 6mm x 20mm Button Head Bolts, (4) 6mm Flat Washers, (4) 6mm Lock Washers and (4) 6mm Hex Nuts, (Figs 14 & 15). Models without ACC sensor: a. Attach the Plastic Cover only to the front of the Bumper with the included (4) 6mm x 20mm Button Head Bolts, (4) 6mm Flat Washers, (4) 6mm Lock Washers and (4) 6mm Hex Nuts, (Fig 15). NOTE: ACC Bracket is not required. Front (3) 6mm x 20mm Button Head Bolts (6) 6mm Flat Washers (3) 6mm Lock Washers (3) 6mm Hex Nuts (Fig 13) Models with ACC sensor, attach sensor to back of Mounting Bracket FIG 14 (Fig 14) ACC sensor attached to Bracket FIG 15 (4) 6mm x 25mm Button Head Bolts (4) 6mm Flat Washers (4) 6mm Lock Washers (4) 6mm Hex Nuts Plastic Cover (Fig 15) Model with ACC sensor, attach Plastic Cover to front of Bumper and attach sensor and Mounting Bracket to back of Bumper. www.rynoskinauto.com Page 5 of 11 Rev. 9/18/23 (JH) STEP 12.2 Models without parking sensors: a. From the front of the bumper, push the (4) Plastic Plugs into the Sensor Mounts, (Fig 16). Models with parking sensors. a. Remove sensors and wiring harness from the factory bumper. Note the location of each sensor for proper reinstallation. b. Remove the silicone seal from the end of the sensor. Slide the included larger Foam Seal over front of sensor, (Fig 17). c. Insert sensor with Seal into outer sensor mount on the back of the Bumper. d. Place Foam Spacer over end of sensor. Push Sensor Cap onto sensor mount and lock into mounting holes, (Fig 18). e. Repeat previous Steps to install the remaining sensor. f. Attach the factory wiring harness to the Bumper and plug into sensors. Secure harness to back of Bumper with included Wire Ties. Push Foam Seal onto end of sensor FIG 18 Sensor Cap Foam Spacer Foam Sensor Seal Front (Fig 18) Push sensor and Seal into back of Mount. Place Foam Spacer over sensor. Snap Sensor Cap onto sensor mount Front (Fig 16) Models without parking sensors, push the included Plugs into sensor mounts STEP 13 Select the Winch Tray. Slide the Tray down into the top of the Bumper. www.rynoskinauto.com Page 6 of 11 Rev. 9/18/23 (JH) STEP 14 Select (1) Double Bolt Plate. From the front, insert the Bolt Plate up into the bottom of the leg on the Winch Tray and through the front of the Bumper, (Fig 19). From the back of the Bumper, thread (2) 12mm Plastic Retainers onto the threaded ends of the Bolt Plate, (Figs 20 & 24). Repeat this Step to insert the remaining Double Bolt Plate through the passenger/right side of the Winch Tray and Bumper. FIG 19 STEP 15 Attach the driver/left side of the Winch Tray to the inside of the Bumper with the included (2) 12mm x 35mm Hex Bolts, (2) 12mm Lock Washers and (2) 12mm Flat Washers, (Fig 21). Leave hardware loose. Repeat this Step to attach the passenger/right side of the Tray to the Bumper. FIG 21 Front (Fig 19) Slide Winch Tray down into Bumper. Insert (1) 12mm Double Bolt Plate into each leg on Winch Tray and out through slots in Bumper FIG 20 12mm Double Bolt Plate (2) 12mm Plastic Retainers Front (Fig 20) Thread (2) Plastic Retainers onto Bolt Plates to help hold Bolt Plates in place during Bumper installation (4) 12mm x 35mm Hex Bolts (4) 12mm Lock Washers (4) 12mm Flat Washers (Fig 21) Attach Winch Tray to inside of Bumper STEP 16 Insert (1) 12mm Single Bolt Plate through the outer mounting hole in the driver/left mounting plate on the back of the Bumper, (Fig 22). Thread (1) 12mm Plastic Retainer onto the Bolt Plate to help hold it in place, (Figs 23 & 24). Repeat this Step to attach (1) 12mm Single Bolt Plate to the outer mounting hole on the passenger/right side of the Bumper. NOTE: Plastic Retainers are supplied to help with Bumper installation, use is not mandatory for installation. www.rynoskinauto.com Page 7 of 11 Rev. 9/18/23 (JH) FIG 22 Front (Fig 22) Insert 12mm Single Bolt Plate into outer slot. Passenger/right side pictured through outer opening for light FIG 23 STEP 17 Attach the Top Hoop to the top of the Bumper with the included (6) 8mm x 20mm Hex Bolts, (6) 8mm Lock Washers and (6) 8mm Flat Washers, (Fig 25). NOTE: Installation is optional. FIG 25 (3) 8mm x 20mm Button Head Bolts (3) 8mm Lock Washers (3) 8mm Flat Washers Front Front 12mm Single Bolt Plate 12mm Plastic Retainer (Fig 23) Insert 12mm Single Bolt Plate into outer slot. Thread 12mm Plastic Retainer onto Bolt Plate to hold in place FIG 24 (Fig 25) Attach Bullnose Hoop to top of Bumper, installation is optional (driver/left side illustrated) STEP 18 With assistance, hold the Bumper assembly up to the end of the frame and Support Brackets. Guide the Bolt Plates through the frame and Support Brackets. Attach the driver/left side of the Bumper to the frame and Brackets with the included (3) 12mm Flat Washers, (3) 12mm Lock Washers and (3) 12mm Hex Nuts, (Figs 26--28). Repeat this Step to attach the passenger/right side of the Bumper. Models with ACC sensor, plug wiring harness into sensor. STEP 20 Attach the winch to the top of the Winch Tray. Attach the cable guide Bracket (fairlead), to the top of the Winch Tray with the included (2) 10mm x 30mm Button Head Bolts, (4) 10mm x 20mm Small Flat Washers and (2) 10mm Nylon Lock Nuts, (Fig 29). Next, attach cable guide to the Bracket, (winch and cable guide not included). NOTE: Depending on size of winch, it may be necessary to temporarily remove the Top Hoop from the Bumper. Reinstall Top Hoop after installing winch. Winch and cable guide not included. NOTE: Check for clearance between light and winch. LED Light Installation with Hoop, (LED Light Bar not included): a. Select the driver/left "L" Bracket. Attach the Bracket to the slot on top or bottom of Hoop with the included (1) 8mm x 25mm Hex Bolt, (2) 8mm Flat Washers, (1) 8mm Lock Washer and (1) 8mm Hex Nut, (Fig 30). Repeat this Step to install the passenger/right "L" Bracket. b. Attach the LED Light Bar to the Brackets with the included (2) 8mm x 16mm Hex Bolts, (2) 8mm Lock Washers and (2) 8mm Flat Washers, (Fig 30). Adjust light and fully tighten hardware. NOTE: Lights not included. Models Fill Panels installation: a. Select (1) Mesh Fill Panel, (Fig 32). b. Attach the Mesh Fill Panel to the threaded inserts in the front of the Bumper with the included (3) 6mm Button Head Combo Bolts, (Fig 32). Light installation (do not install lights with Mesh Fill Panels): a. Remove outer Mesh Fill Panels from Bumper, (Fig 31). b. Attach lights to tabs at bottom or top of square openings in Bumper. c. Repeat previous Steps to install the remaining Mesh Fill Panel FIG 31 Front (Fig 31) Remove outer Mesh Fill Panels for cube light installation (lights not included) www.rynoskinauto.com Page 10 of 11 Rev. 9/18/23 (JH) FIG 32 FIG 33 (6) 6mm x 20mm Button Head Combo Bolts (Fig 32) Attach Mesh Center Fill Panels to front of Bumper STEP 23 Reinstall the lower splash guard. STEP 24 Models with front license plate. a. Attach License Plate Bracket to the front of the Bumper with (2) 6mm x 20mm Button Head Combo Bolts, (Fig 33). Snap the included (2) Plastic Plugs into the square holes in the Bracket for the license plate. (2) Plastic Plugs Front (2) 6mm Button Head Combo Bolts (Fig 33) Attach License Plate Bracket to front of Bumper if required STEP 25 Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and tight. Attention To protect your investment, do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives that could damage the finish.
