Congratulations on choosing the Joie spin 360TM child restraint. This high-quality, fully certified Group 0+/1 child restraint is designed for safety and comfort. Please read this manual carefully and follow all instructions for proper installation and use.
This manual should be kept for future reference. Store it in the compartment at the bottom of the base.
Note: If your vehicle is equipped with ISOFIX, consult your vehicle owner's manual for exact locations and requirements.

Important Warnings
- ⚠️ The child's weight must be under 18kg (approx. 4 years old or under).
- ⚠️ DO NOT use forward-facing mode for children under 2 years old. Rearward-facing mode is recommended even for children over 2 years old.
- ⚠️ Ensure all straps holding the restraint to the vehicle are tight, and straps restraining the child are adjusted to the child's body without twisting.
- ⚠️ After placing the child, the safety belt must be used correctly, with the lap strap worn low to engage the pelvis firmly.
- ⚠️ The child restraint must be replaced if it has been subjected to violent stresses in an accident, as damage may not be visible.
- ⚠️ Do not make alterations or additions without approval from the Type Approval Authority.
- ⚠️ Keep the restraint away from direct sunlight to prevent overheating.
- ⚠️ Never leave a child unattended in the restraint system.
- ⚠️ Luggage or other objects that could cause injury in a collision must be properly secured.
- ⚠️ The child restraint shall not be used without its soft goods.
- ⚠️ Soft goods must only be replaced with those recommended by the manufacturer, as they are integral to performance. Use only Joie replacement parts.
- ⚠️ Do not use any load-bearing contact points other than those described in the instructions and marked on the restraint.
- ⚠️ No child restraint guarantees 100% protection, but proper use reduces the risk of serious injury or death.
- ⚠️ DO NOT install or use this restraint without following all instructions and warnings to avoid serious risk to your child.
- ⚠️ DO NOT use this restraint if it is damaged or has missing parts.
- ⚠️ Do not use swaddled clothes, as they can prevent proper harness fastening.
- ⚠️ DO NOT leave the restraint unsecured in the vehicle; it can become a projectile. Remove it if not in regular use.
- ⚠️ NEVER install in a vehicle seat equipped with safety airbags when used in rear-facing mode.
- ⚠️ NEVER use a second-hand restraint or one of unknown history due to potential structural damage.
- ⚠️ DO NOT use this restraint as a regular chair, as it may tip over.
- ⚠️ DO NOT put anything other than recommended soft goods in the restraint.
- ⚠️ DO NOT carry the restraint with a child in it.
- ⚠️ Ensure harness or buckles do not get trapped in vehicle seats or doors.
- ⚠️ Remove the restraint from the vehicle seat if not in use for extended periods.
- ⚠️ Remove plastic bags and packaging materials before use to avoid suffocation. Keep them away from children.
- ⚠️ Consult the retailer for maintenance, repair, and part replacement issues.
- ⚠️ Do not place objects in the load leg area.
- ⚠️ DO NOT install on the front vehicle seat.
- ⚠️ Frequently check and clean ISOFIX guides for dirt, as it can affect reliability.
- ⚠️ DO NOT install on vehicle seats with only lap belts or 3-point belts (unless specified for ISOFIX).
- ⚠️ DO NOT install on vehicle seats facing sideways or rearward relative to the vehicle's direction of travel.
- ⚠️ DO NOT install on vehicle seats that are movable during installation.

In case of emergency or accidents, prioritize first aid and immediate medical treatment for your child.
Product Information for ISOFIX System Installation
This is an ISOFIX CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEM approved to CNS 11497 and UN ECE 44.04 for general use in vehicles fitted with ISOFIX anchorages. It fits vehicles with approved ISOFIX positions. Consult manufacturers if in doubt.

Installing the Base
Refer to images 3 - 12.
- Place the base on the vehicle seat. Pull the load leg downward to the floor. [See Fig 3]
- Insert ISOFIX guides to assist installation. [See Fig 4.1]
- Press the ISOFIX adjuster button to extend the ISOFIX connectors. [See Fig 5.1, 5.2]
- Align the ISOFIX connector with the ISOFIX Guide. Hold the connector and insert it into the vehicle's ISOFIX hook, operating one side at a time. [See Fig 5.3]
- Ensure both ISOFIX connectors are securely attached to their anchor points. The indicators on both connectors should turn completely green. [See Fig 6.1]
- Check that the base is securely installed by pulling on both ISOFIX connectors.
- After attaching ISOFIX, pull the load leg downward to the floor. [See Fig 7]
- When the load leg indicator shows green, the load leg is installed correctly. [See Fig 8]
- The load leg has multiple positions. If the indicator shows red, it is installed incorrectly.
- Ensure the load leg is in full contact with the vehicle floor pan.
- Squeeze the load leg releasing button to adjust its length.
- Always ensure the load leg has direct contact with the floor and is in the locked position, even when the child is not in the seat.
- The completely assembled base is shown in Fig 9.
- ISOFIX connectors must be attached and locked. [See Fig 9.1]
- Load leg must be installed correctly with a green indicator. [See Fig 9.2]
- To remove the base from the vehicle: Press the ISOFIX adjuster button and pull the base away from the seat. [See Fig 10.1, 10.2]
- Press and release the connectors from the vehicle's ISOFIX anchor points. [See Fig 11]
- For transit: Press the ISOFIX adjuster button and fold the connectors completely. [See Fig 12.1, 12.2]
Recline Adjustment
Refer to images 13 - 14.
Squeeze the recline adjustment button [See Fig 13] to adjust the child restraint to the proper position. The recline angles are shown in Fig 14.
- Please recheck the load leg position after reclining.
- The most reclined position (1st position) is limited for rear-facing mode.
- There are 5 recline positions for forward-facing mode. [See Fig 14]
Height Adjustment for Head Support and Shoulder Harnesses
Refer to images 15 - 17.
- Adjust the head support and check that the shoulder harnesses are at the correct height according to Fig 15.
- When used rear-facing and forward-facing, the shoulder harness height must be even with or just above the child's shoulders. [See Fig 15]
- Squeeze the head support adjustment lever [See Fig 16.1] and simultaneously pull up or push down on the head support until it snaps into one of the 6 positions. The head support positions are shown in Fig 17.
Using in the Rear Facing Mode
For Child under 18kg / Infant - 4 years old
Reference age: Newborn - 4 years old
Recline position: Limit to use the first position.
Refer to images 3 - 9 for base installation and images 18 - 27 for child securing.
Installation:
- Install the child restraint on the rear vehicle seat.
- Press the ISOFIX adjuster button and pull the base back from the vehicle seat. [See Fig 18.1, 18.2]
- Press the rotating button to rotate the seat for easier side loading/unloading of the child, then rotate back to the desired direction. [See Fig 19, Fig 21]
- If a tighter install or increased cabin space is required, press the ISOFIX adjuster button and push to adjust. [See Fig 20.1, 20.2]
- Install the child restraint in the rear-facing mode as shown in Fig 21.
- Ensure ISOFIX connectors are attached and locked onto the ISOFIX anchor points. [See Fig 21.1]
- Ensure the load leg is installed correctly with a green indicator. [See Fig 21.2]
- Always ensure the seat is in the locked position (rearward facing / forward facing), even when the child is not in it.
Securing Child:
After placing the child in the seat, check shoulder harness straps are at the proper height.
- Press the webbing adjustment button while pulling out the shoulder harnesses to the proper length. [See Fig 22]
- Unlock the buckle by pressing the red button. [See Fig 23]
- Fix the buckles on the sides of the seat to make placing the child in rear-facing mode more convenient. [See Fig 24]
- Use the Infant insert for children's protection. [See Fig 25]
- Detach the snaps on the head support to remove the head portion of the insert.
- We recommend using the full infant insert for babies 0-6 months or until they outgrow the insert. The insert increases side impact protection.
- Remove the head support portion when the child's head no longer fits comfortably.
- Remove the body portion when the infant's shoulders no longer fit comfortably.
- Remove the infant insert cushion by detaching snaps to allow more space if needed. The cushion can be used separately to bolster the infant's back for comfort.
- Place the child into the restraint and pass both arms through the harnesses. Recheck shoulder harness height.
- Engage the buckle. [See Fig 26]
- Pull down the adjustment webbing and adjust it to the proper length to ensure the child is properly secured. [See Fig 27]
- Ensure the space between the child and the shoulder harness straps is about the thickness of one hand.
- If steps (Fig 22), (Fig 23), (Fig 24) are taken when arriving at your destination, the harness will be positioned out of the way for loading upon return.
Using in the Forward Facing Mode
For Child between 9-18kg / 2 - 4 years old
Reference age: 2 - 4 years old
Recline position: Position 1-5.
Refer to images 3 - 9 for base installation and images 28 - 35 for child securing.
Installation:
- Install the child restraint on the vehicle seat.
- Press the ISOFIX adjuster button and pull the base back from the vehicle seat. [See Fig 28.1, 28.2]
- Press the rotating button to rotate the seat forward for easier side loading/unloading of the child, then rotate to the desired direction. [See Fig 29, Fig 31]
- If a tighter install or increased cabin space is required, press the ISOFIX adjuster button and push to adjust. [See Fig 30.1, 30.2]
- Install the child restraint in the forward-facing mode as shown in Fig 31.
- Ensure ISOFIX connectors are attached and locked onto the ISOFIX anchor points. [See Fig 31.1]
- Ensure the load leg is installed correctly with a green indicator. [See Fig 31.2]
- Always ensure the seat is in the locked position (rearward facing / forward facing), even when the child is not in it.
Securing Child:
After placing the child in the seat, check shoulder harness straps are at the proper height.
- Press the webbing adjustment button while pulling out the shoulder harnesses to the proper length. [See Fig 32]

- Note: Do not use the infant insert when installing the child restraint in forward-facing mode.
- Place the child into the restraint and pass both arms through the harnesses. Recheck shoulder harness height. [Refer to Fig 15 for correct height]
- Engage the buckle. [See Fig 26]
- Pull down the adjustment webbing and adjust it to the proper length to ensure the child is properly secured. [See Fig 35]
- Ensure the space between the child and the shoulder harness straps is about the thickness of one hand.
- If steps (Fig 32), (Fig 33), (Fig 34) are taken when arriving at your destination, the harness will be positioned out of the way for loading upon return.
Detach Soft Goods
Refer to images 36 - 43.
- Press the red button to disengage the buckle. [See Fig 36]
- Follow steps (Fig 37) - (Fig 43) to detach soft goods.
- To re-attach the soft goods, repeat the above steps in reverse.
Care and Maintenance
- After removing the wedge from the insert, store it safely away from children.
- Wash the seat cover and inner padding with cold water under 30°C.
- Do not iron the soft goods.
- Do not bleach or dry clean the soft goods.
- Do not use undiluted detergents, gasoline, or other organic solvents to wash the child restraint or base, as this may cause damage.
- Do not wring out the seat cover and inner padding to dry, as this may leave wrinkles.
- Hang dry the seat cover and inner padding in the shade.
- Remove the child restraint and base from the vehicle seat if not in use for a long period. Store the child restraint in a cool, dry place inaccessible to children.
