The Thingsee AIR is designed for indoor use only. Proper installation involves selecting a suitable location, avoiding interference sources like thick concrete structures, electrical wires, or high-power RF transmitters. For optimal performance, the device requires periods of ventilation and "free of people" moments for accurate CO2 baseline calibration. Installation guidance includes mounting height recommendations (1.4m - 1.8m) and ensuring proper mesh network connectivity with the Thingsee Gateway, keeping sensors within 20 meters of each other or the gateway.
