Getting Started and Assembly

Step 1: Attach Accessories

Select the appropriate accessory for your cleaning needs. The diagrams show various brush heads and crevice tools that can be attached to the main unit.

Step 2: Charging the Vacuum Cleaner

Place the vacuum cleaner on its charging stand. Ensure the charging contacts are aligned. The charging indicator will show the charging status.

Step 3: Operation

Press the power button to turn the vacuum cleaner on or off. The vacuum cleaner can be operated in different modes, indicated by the battery level display.

Battery Indicators:

• ■■■ 100%: Fully charged
• ■■□ 75-100%: High battery level
• ■□□ 50-75%: Medium battery level
• □□□ 25-50%: Low battery level
• □□□ 0-25%: Very low battery level

Charging Time: Approximately 4.5 hours for a full charge.

Usage Time: The vacuum cleaner provides extended usage time, indicated by the battery level.

Maintenance and Care

Emptying the Dust Container:

Press the release button to detach the dust container. Open the lid and empty the contents into a trash bin. Clean the dust container as needed.

Cleaning the Filter:

Remove the filter from the dust container. Wash the filter under running water and allow it to dry completely before reinserting it. It is recommended to clean the filter regularly for optimal performance.

Cleaning the Brush Roll:

Remove any tangled hair or debris from the brush roll. Some brush rolls may be removable for easier cleaning.

Storage:

Store the vacuum cleaner on its charging stand in a cool, dry place. Ensure the battery is charged before long-term storage.

Troubleshooting

No Power: Ensure the battery is charged and properly inserted. Check if the power outlet is functioning.

Reduced Suction Power: Clean or replace the filter. Empty the dust container. Check for blockages in the hose or nozzle.

Overheating: Ensure the air vents are not blocked. Allow the vacuum cleaner to cool down if it has been running for an extended period.

Important Safety Information

Battery Handling: Please handle the battery pack installation with care. The new battery pack must come from AEG or an authorized service center. Do not expose the battery to temperatures above 40°C.

General Safety:

• Do not use the vacuum cleaner to pick up sharp objects, burning embers, or liquids.
• Keep the vacuum cleaner away from heat sources and open flames.
• Do not use the vacuum cleaner outdoors.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
