Fritz Box 7360 Fibre Configuration
Using your own router? No worries, we've got you covered!
Ensure the Router is connected from LAN1 on Router to GE1 on ONT1.
Log into the gateway
- Ensure your device is connected to the Router (preferably via cable).
- Open a web browser.
- Type the following in the address bar at the top:
fritz.box. - If this is the first time you have logged in, it will not require a username.
- Select: Skip This Step and Continue.
This should then give access to the router's user interface.
How to add correct settings for the Mercury network
- From the menu on the left, select: Internet.
- From the sub-menu, select Account Information.
- On the page, locate the Internet Connection tab.
Ensure the following settings are changed:
- Internet Service Provider:
- Other
- Name:
- Mercury
- Connect Via:
- External Modem or Router
- Operating Mode:
- Make Own Connection to the Internet
- Is Account Information Required?:
- Yes
- Username:
- (your mercury acct number)@mercurybroadband.co.nz
- Password:
- password
- Upstream:
- 320000kbit/s
- Downstream:
- 320000kbit/s
Next Steps:
- Select: Change Connection Settings.
- Maintain Permanently: Ticked.
- Use VLAN for Internet Access: Ticked - 10.
- Check the Internet connection after "Apply": Ticked.
- Click: Apply.
- Click: Submit.
