Care Instructions

Clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

Good to Know

• Tempered glass requires careful handling. It is fragile and a damaged edge or scratched surface can cause it to break suddenly.
• You can make stackable units freestanding by adding a plinth of a corresponding size (sold separately) or place a unit on top of a 47 cm deep cabinet to create a vertical combination.
• Two people are needed to assemble these products.
• To prevent the furniture from tipping over, it must be secured to the wall with the enclosed wall attachment. Since different wall materials require different screws and fasteners, these are not included. Consult a professional for advice on suitable screws and fasteners for your walls. Have a qualified person install the furniture to the wall, as incorrect installation can cause injury or damage.
• When stacking units, always place deeper units below and shallower units on top.
• For safety reasons, HAVSTA units must not be hung on the wall.

Showcase items behind glass doors or in open shelves, and hide others in closed cabinets. Add a TV bench to conceal cables and complete the look with coffee tables in the same style.

Choose individual units or one of the many pre-designed combinations. Add units or rearrange your combination to adapt to changing needs – whether it's your family or your collection of memorabilia that's growing.

81 cm Wide Combination

Step 1: Choose a 47 cm deep cabinet. Step 2: Add one of the 37 cm deep stackable units.

Traditional Lighting or IKEA Smart Lighting?
Good lighting makes your life easier and helps you create the right atmosphere. Below you'll find various options for HAVSTA. Light up your favorite pictures or collectibles and enjoy the glow reflected in them. Good lighting also helps you find what you're looking for on shelves or inside cabinets. With the TRÅDFRI LED transformer, you can turn MITTLED, TVÄRDRAG, and YTBERG lights into smart lighting that you can control with the STYRBAR remote control or RODRET wireless dimmer. You can also connect your smart lighting to the DIRIGERA gateway and control any light, along with other smart products like speakers or air purifiers, in the IKEA Home smart app.

You can control your smart home in various ways – with the IKEA Home smart app, remote controls, shortcut buttons, voice, or motion. You can control each product individually, in groups, rooms, or all at once. All our lights are energy-efficient LED lights, allowing you to save energy.

TVÄRDRAG Cabinet Light

The traditional look of the light fits well with cabinets in the BESTÅ, HAVSTA, and HAUGA lines. The metal shade directs light straight into the shelving unit or cabinet. If you want the light to shine into the cabinet, simply tilt the lamp head inwards. Provides direct lighting, suitable for illuminating smaller areas. You can dim the lighting wirelessly and adjust it to your needs. The bracket allows you to slide the light forward and backward. You can easily attach it with screws or with double-sided tape on glass or metal surfaces. LED lighting uses up to 85% less energy and lasts about twenty times longer than a traditional incandescent bulb. You can turn up to six lights on simultaneously by adding an ANSLUTA transformer. If you also want to control the brightness, you need a TRÅDFRI transformer and STYRBAR remote control or RODRET wireless dimmer instead. Sold separately.

YTBERG Cabinet Light

You can easily direct the light where you want it because the lamp arm can be bent and angled – perfect for homework, arts and crafts, or when relaxing with a good book. Provides a soft light that creates a cozy atmosphere in the room. The bracket allows you to slide the light forward and backward. STYRBAR Remote Control

The STYRBAR remote control allows you to control multiple lights with one button. Create the right atmosphere by dimming the lighting and adjusting the color temperature. We want to take care of the environment. Therefore, we recommend using LADDA rechargeable batteries, AAA, for the remote control. Sold separately.

RODRET Wireless Dimmer/Switch

Now, controlling your lighting is really simple. With the RODRET wireless dimmer, you can control your lights – turn on, turn off, and adjust the brightness according to your mood.

Note: HAVSTA cabinets do not have pre-drilled holes for cabinet lighting. To install the lights, you need to drill holes in the units.

How to Choose Cabinet Lighting

Now you can choose cabinet lighting for your shelving units to make it easier to see the contents. They also create a cozy atmosphere in the room when the doors are closed. Cabinet lighting is especially useful when there is little space between the cabinet and the ceiling.

How to Choose a Transformer

There are two sizes of LED transformers. Choose the size you need based on how many lights you plan to connect. You can connect up to six units to the 10 W transformer, as long as the total power consumption does not exceed 10 W. The 30 W transformer can handle up to nine units, as long as the total power consumption does not exceed 30 W. You can connect up to ten transformers together in one setup. Blinking lights indicate that the maximum power for the transformer has been reached. If you use more than one transformer, you need to connect each one individually to a STYRBAR remote control or RODRET wireless dimmer to control all the lighting simultaneously. Make your cabinet lighting smart with the DIRIGERA gateway. You can control the lighting with the IKEA Home smart app and set the right mood each time with different smart lighting.
