Getting Started with the Sanremo Connector App

To begin, download the Sanremo Connector App from your device's app store (Google Play or Apple Store). Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your mobile device to the WiFi network generated by the module. The network name and password are often found on a label attached to the module itself.

If direct app access is unavailable, connect your smartphone to the machine's WiFi network and navigate to the IP address 192.168.10.1 in your web browser.

Understanding Connection Modes

The Sanremo YOU WiFi module supports multiple connection methods:

• Direct Point-to-Point: Connects your mobile device directly to the machine for local communication. Note that this mode may not support Over-The-Air (OTA) firmware updates.
• Via Home Router: Connects both your mobile device and the machine to your home WiFi network. This mode allows for OTA updates if your router has an active internet connection.
• Cloud Account: Utilizes a cloud account for communication, enabling access from anywhere. This method also supports OTA updates.

Creating Your Cloud Account

For cloud connectivity, create an account via the web application at cloudwinet.it. Follow the registration process, providing necessary details and accepting data processing terms. You will receive an email to activate your account. Once logged into the cloud system, you can register your Sanremo YOU device.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

If you encounter connection problems, verify your WiFi password. It must meet the following criteria: minimum 8 characters, maximum 64, alphanumeric, and can include specific special characters.
