Fitting Time: 0 : 15 Hours Minutes Issue 1 : 18/11/2024 Document No.: 9PSD002Q -F1 P1agoef1?o?f 2 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION Aluminium Short Dropside Post Section 1 - Installation STEP 1 Assemble the dropside post as shown, by first installing the front catch bush to the dropside post with M6 x 16 Bolts and M6 nuts. Secondly, install the latch through the nylon washer, front catch bush, washer, spring, second washer, then conelock nut. Do not tighten the conelock at this stage. M6 x 16 Front catch bush Washer Spring M6 x 16 Dropside post Nylon Washer latch STEP 2 Position the dropside post roughly 1mm away from the shortened dropside as shown. Ensure the latch moves freely into the dropside catch. STEP 3 Using the dropside post as a drill template, drill one 8.5mm into the deck, and two 8.5mm holes into the coaming. Rear View Front View Issue : 18/11/2024 Drill 8.5mm Page 2 of 2 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION Aluminium Short Dropside Post STEP 4 Install the M8 fasteners through the newly drilled holes and dropside post. Ensure to install the spacer tube inside the dropside post as shown. Tighten the latch using a 14mm socket and turning the latch clockwise until the latch operates easily while holding the dropside firmly.
