Getting Started

Welcome to your Teufel RADIO ONE. This guide will help you set up and use your new bedroom speaker.

Buttons and Functions

The Teufel RADIO ONE features several buttons for control:

• 1 Menu: Accesses the device menu.
• 2 Previous: Navigates to the previous track or station.
• 3 Next: Navigates to the next track or station.
• 4 Volume Wheel:
  • Turn to adjust volume.
  • Use for navigation when a menu is open.
  • Press center for: Power On/Off, Play/Pause, Mute, Select.
  • Press for Snooze function.
• 5 Favorite 1: Save or recall favorite station 1.
• 6 Favorite 2: Save or recall favorite station 2.
• 7 Favorite 3: Save or recall favorite station 3.
• 8 Alarm 1: Set or manage Alarm 1.
• 9 Alarm 2: Set or manage Alarm 2.
• 10 Sleep-timer: Set the sleep timer ?.
• 11 Bluetooth: Activate Bluetooth pairing ?.
• 12 FM Radio: Select FM radio mode.
• 13 DAB+ Radio: Select DAB+ radio mode.

Initial Use

First Use:

Press the center of the Volume Wheel (4) to power on the device and begin the initial setup.

Note: Ensure any protective film is removed from the rubber feet before use. The package includes two spare rubber feet.

Radio Operation:

Press the FM (12) or DAB+ (13) button to listen to a radio station. To save a favorite station, press and hold a favorite button (5, 6, or 7) for 2 seconds. For optimal reception, extend the antenna cable located on the bottom of the RADIO ONE.

Evening Setup:

To set an alarm for the next morning, press the alarm button (8 or 9) for 2 seconds. To fall asleep with audio playing, press the sleep-timer button (10). The speaker will gradually lower the volume and turn off automatically when the timer expires.

Morning Alarm:

When the alarm sounds, press the corresponding alarm button (8 or 9) to turn it off. To activate the snooze function, press or turn the Volume Wheel (4). The alarm will repeat after the set snooze interval.

Pairing and Playback

Connect your device wirelessly via Bluetooth:

1. Press and hold the Bluetooth button (11) for 2 seconds. The display will show "PAIRING" and a pairing sound will play.
2. On your playback device (e.g., smartphone, tablet), activate Bluetooth and navigate to its Bluetooth settings.
3. Select "Teufel RADIO ONE" from the list of available devices. Once connected, the RADIO ONE display will show "OK" and play a "connected" sound.
4. Start audio playback from your source device or use the controls on the RADIO ONE.
