2 Mobile Setup
Before you begin:
- Ensure a strong WiFi connection at the camera's location.
- Know the SSID (WiFi network name) and password for your 2.4GHz WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK WiFi network. Your network must not be hidden.
- Your network should have at least 2Mbps upload speed for live viewing or 4Mbps upload speed for meShare Cloud Service usage per camera.
- Download and install the "meShare" app from Google Play™ or the App Store™ (compatibility: iOS® 7.0+ or Android™ 4.0+).
- Launch the app and sign up for a free meShare account. All your devices will be bound to this account.
Setup Steps:
- Log in to the meShare app and press the "Add Device" [plus-sign] option in the upper right corner of the Home Page.
- Power on your device. The status light will blink green when powered on. Tap "Start installation" to proceed.
- When prompted by the app, scan the QR code displayed on your phone with the device's camera.
- Turn up the volume on your phone to hear voice prompts during the setup process. Tap "Next" to proceed.
- Connect your phone to the 2.4GHz WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK WiFi network that you want your device to connect to. Ensure the network is not hidden. Tap "Next" to proceed.
- Enter the password for your WiFi network. Ensure the password is correct. Tap "Next" to proceed. Note: The WiFi password is case-sensitive.
- Steadily hold your phone's display in front of your meShare camera until you hear "Device connected". The distance between your phone and the camera should be about 8 inches.
- Name your device and set a password for it. Tap "Next" to proceed. Note: The password provides an additional layer of security for your devices and is optional but highly recommended.
- Your device has been successfully configured! Tap "Done" to finish setup. You can now share or view your device.
3 Mounting Your Camera (Optional)
- Remove the three screw plugs on the bracket and keep the holes exposed.
- Line the bracket against the wall and mark the appropriate holes. Drill three holes slightly smaller than the provided wall anchors. Use a hammer to gently insert the anchors into the wall, ensuring the tips are flush against the wall. Fasten the three screws through the holes on the bracket and into the anchors.
Connect the supplied power adapter to the power port and plug the adapter into a nearby power outlet. The LED status light will illuminate when the camera powers on. You can rotate the camera for a better viewing angle.
