IMPORTANT INFORMATION 1.1 Safety Information Thank you for purchasing the TG935 Quad Bike. Please read through this instruction manual before use as it contains all the information you need about how to correctly enjoy this product. CAUTION ELECTRONIC PRODUCT Do not leave children aged 6 years or below unattended with this toy. This product should be used in accordance with this user manual in a safe way to avoid electric shock. ADULT SUPERVISION REQUIRED WARNING! Do not try to modify this product in any way as this may invalidate your warranty. WARNING! Contains small parts, child supervision is required at all times. 1.2 Battery Safety 1) Use only brand new batteries of the correct size and power. 2) Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries (zinc, alkaline or rechargeable). 3) If using rechargeable batteries, ensure they are all the same capacity. 4) Do not try and charge non-rechargeable batteries. 5) Rechargeable batteries should be charged by an Adult or under Adult supervision. Stop charging immediately if you notice any abnormal behaviour. 6) Do not throw batteries in the fire. 7) Replace all batteries of the same type/brand at the same time. 8) The supply terminals are not to be short circuited. 9) Remove used batteries from the product. 10) Batteries should be changed by an Adult. 11) If the Quad Bike is going to be inactive for a long period of time, please remove all batteries. 12) For your safety, please operate according to these instructions. 3 1.3 Quad Bike Battery Installation Turn the Quad Bike over so that you can gain access to the underside of the vehicle. Making sure that the Power switch is in the OFF position, remove the screw from the battery cover and remove the battery compartment cover. Insert 4x AA batteries (supplied) into the battery compartment observing the correct polarity as indicated. Re-fit the battery cover and secure with the screw. (Warning - Remove the batteries if the Quad Bike is not going to be used for a long time.) 1.4 Remote Battery Installation The battery compartment is located on the side of the pistol grip controller. Remove the battery compartment cover from the controller. Insert 2 AA batteries (supplied) into the battery compartment observing the correct polarity as shown and replace the battery compartment cover. WARNING Do not mix old and new batteries. Keep batteries away from small children. Do not short-circuit batteries or dispose of in a fire. Remove the batteries if the Quad Bike is not going to be used for a long time. 4 2. INSTRUCTION 2.1 Setting up the Quad Bike Add the included batteries into the controller and Quad Bike as previously described. Switch the power switch on the side of the controller to the `ON' position. Switch the power on the underside of the Quad Bike to the `ON' position. You are now ready to begin driving. OFF/ON 5 2.2 Controlling the Quad Bike FORWARDS BACKWARDS In order to make the Quad Bike travel forward, hold the controller and pull the accelerator trigger switch towards you. The Quad Bike will begin to travel forward. In order to make the Quad Bike travel backwards, hold the controller and push the accelerator trigger away from you. The Quad Bike will begin to travel backwards. Releasing the accelerator trigger at any time will result in the Quad Bike coming to a full stop. LEFT RIGHT To make the Quad Bike turn you will also need to turn the steering control at the same time as pulling or pushing the accelerator trigger. When travelling forwards, turn the steering control to the right/away from you to turn right and to the left/towards you to turn left. When travelling in reverse, you will need to turn the steering control in the opposite direction. E.g. to turn the Quad Bike right you will need to turn the steering control to the left/towards you. 6 2.3 Adjusting the Directional Movement It may be necessary to fine tune the steering via the steering adjustment control, located on the underside of the Quad Bike. If while travelling in a straight line you find that the Quad Bike strays to the left or right, then you will need to adjust the steering control to correct this issue. It is best to make several small adjustments to the steering this allows for an accurate adjustment of the steering. If the Quad Bike strays to the left, then you will need to move the steering adjustment to the right (R). If the Quad Bike strays to the right, then you will need to move the steering adjustment to the left (L). Steering Adjustment Control 2.4 Using Multiple Quad Bikes The TG935 Remote Control Quad Bike uses the 2.4ghz frequency, this means multiple cars can used at the same time. Load the batteries in the controllers and Quad Bikes. Make sure to connect one car and remote at a time. Switch on the power of the Controller A and the Quad Bike A you want to control. Wait 10 seconds for the car and controller to connect. Switch on the power of the Controller B and the Quad Bike B you want to control. Wait 10 seconds for the car and controller to connect. Repeat for any extra cars and controllers you may have. 7 2.5 Troubleshooting If you are experiencing problems with your Quad Bike, here are some quick and easy checks that you can carry out, which may help to resolve the problem. No Response from the Quad Bike: Please ensure that the Quad Bike is in range of the controller and that there are no obstructions between the controller and the Quad Bike which could block the signal. Make sure that the batteries in the Controller are fitted correctly and that they have not reached the end of their life. If required replace the batteries in the controller. Make sure that the batteries in the Quad Bike are fitted correctly. If required replace the batteries in the Quad Bike. Please ensure that the power switch on the Quad Bike and Controller is switched to `ON'. The Quad Bike does not travel straight: Please adjust the steering using the steering adjustment control located on the underside of the Quad Bike. The Quad Bike Starts to Run Slow: The batteries in the Quad Bike are running low, please insert new batteries. 8 3. WARRANTY 3.1 Warranty Information What is Covered: This warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship, with the exceptions stated below. How Long Coverage Lasts: This warranty runs for 2 Years from the date your Quad Bike is delivered. What is not covered: Any problem that is caused by abuse, misuse, or an act of God (such as a flood) are not covered. What We Will Do: If the Product proves defective during the warranty period, we will provide you with the instructions for the return, and we will take one of the following actions: (i) replace the Product with a product that is the same or equivalent to the Product you purchased; (ii) repair the Product; or (iii) refund to you the whole of or part of the purchase price of the Product. How To Get Service: To obtain instructions on how to obtain service under this warranty, contact our customer service by phone or email. Customer service may ask you questions to determine your eligibility under this warranty, and if you are eligible you'll be given instructions for returning the defective Product. Aufsicht von Erwachsenen ist immer erforderlich. 1.2 Wichtige Informationen zu den Batterien 1) Verwenden Sie ausschließlich neue Batterien der richtigen Größe und Spezifikation. 2) Verwenden Sie keine alten und neuen Batterien, verschiedene Arten von Batterien (Zink, Alkali oder wiederaufladbar) zusammen. 3) Wenn Sie wiederaufladbare Batterien verwenden, stellen Sie sicher, dass sie dieselbe Kapazität aufweisen. 4) Versuchen Sie nicht, nicht-wiederaufladbare Batterien aufzuladen. 5) Wiederaufladbare Batterien sollten von einem Erwachsenen oder unter Aufsicht von Erwachsenen aufgeladen werden. Beenden Sie den Ladevorgang unverzüglich, wenn Sie Anomalitäten erkennen. 6) Werfen Sie Batterien nicht ins Feuer. 7) Tauschen Sie alle Batterien derselben Art/Marke gleichzeitig aus. 8) Die Einspeisklemmen dürfen nicht kurzgeschlossen werden. 9) Entfernen Sie leere Batterien aus dem Produkt. 10) Batterien sollten von einem Erwachsenen ausgewechselt werden. 11) Entfernen Sie alle Batterien, wenn der TG935 Quad Bike für längere Zeit nicht verwendet wird. 12) Bedienen Sie den Roboter zu Ihrer eigenen Sicherheit gemäß dieser Anweisungen. 12 1.3 Batterien in das Quad Bike einlegen Drehen Sie das Quad Bike um, sodass Sie Zugang zum Boden des Fahrzeugs erhalten. Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich der Netzschalter in der Position ,,OFF" befindet. Schrauben Sie die Schraube vom Batteriefach ab und entfernen Sie dieses. Legen Sie 4 AA-Batterien (enthalten) in das Batteriefach ein und achten Sie dabei auf die korrekte Polarität. Schrauben Sie das Batteriefach wieder an. (Achtung - Entfernen Sie die Batterien, wenn das Quad Bike für längere Zeit nicht verwendet wird.) 1.4 Batterien in die Fernsteuerung einlegen Das Batteriefach befindet sich seitlich am Pistolengriff-Controller. Entfernen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung von der Steuerung. Legen Sie 2 AA-Batterien (mitgeliefert) in das Batteriefach ein, achten Sie dabei auf die richtige Polarität, wie gezeigt, und bringen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung wieder an. ACHTUNG Verwenden Sie keine alten und neuen Batterien zusammen. Halten Sie die Batterien von kleinen Kindern fern. Schließen Sie Batterien nicht kurz oder entsorgen Sie sie in einem Feuer. Entfernen Sie die Batterien, wenn das Quad Bike für längere Zeit nicht verwendet wird. 13 2. ANWEISUNGE 2.1 Das Quad Bike in Betrieb nehmen Fügen Sie die mitgelieferten Batterien wie zuvor beschrieben in den Controller und das Quad ein. Schalten Sie den Netzschalter an der Seite des Controllers in die Position "ON". Stellen Sie den Netzschalter auf der Unterseite des Quad Bikes auf die Position `ON'. Nun ist es zum Fahren bereit. OFF/ON 14 2.2 Das Quad Bike steuern VORWÄRTS RÜCKWÄRTS Um das Quad-Bike vorwärts fahren zu lassen, halten Sie den Controller und ziehen Sie den Gashebel in Ihre Richtung. Das Quad beginnt sich vorwärts zu bewegen. Um das Quad rückwärts fahren zu lassen, halten Sie den Controller und drücken Sie den Gashebel von sich weg. Das Quad beginnt rückwärts zu fahren. Das Loslassen des Gashebels zu einem beliebigen Zeitpunkt führt dazu, dass das QuadBike vollständig zum Stehen kommt. LINKS RECHTS Um das Quad zu wenden, müssen Sie auch die Lenksteuerung drehen und gleichzeitig den Gashebel drücken oder ziehen. Drehen Sie beim Vorwärtsfahren den Lenker nach rechts/von sich weg, um nach rechts abzubiegen, und nach links/auf sich zu, um nach links abzubiegen. Beim Rückwärtsfahren müssen Sie den Lenkhebel in die entgegengesetzte Richtung drehen. Z.B. Um das Quad nach rechts zu drehen, müssen Sie die Lenksteuerung nach links/in Ihre Richtung drehen. 15 2.3 Die Lenkung einstellen Es kann erforderlich sein, die Lenkung über den Lenkungsseinstellungsregler, der sich auf der Unterseite des Quad Bikes befindet, feineinzustellen. Wenn Sie geradeaus fahren und feststellen, dass das Quad Bike nach links oder rechts ausschert, müssen Sie die Lenkungssregelung einstellen, um dieses Problem zu beheben. Assurez-vous que le bouton d'alimentation soit éteint, et enlevez la vis du couvercle des piles puis enlevez le couvercle du compartiment à piles. Insérez 4 piles x AA (fournies) dans le compartiment à piles en respectant la polarité indiquée. Replacez le couvercle de piles puis fixer avec la vis. Vous êtes maintenant prêt à conduire. OFF/ON 23 2.2 Pilotage du Quad EN AVANT EN ARRIERE Pour faire avancer le Quad Bike, maintenez le contrôleur et tirez la gâchette de l'accélérateur vers vous. Le Quad commencera à avancer. Pour faire reculer le Quad Bike, maintenez le contrôleur et poussez la gâchette de l'accélérateur loin de vous. Le quad commencera à reculer. GAUCHE DROITE Pour faire tourner le Quad Bike, vous devrez également tourner la commande de direction en même temps que vous appuyez ou tirez sur la gâchette de l'accélérateur. Assicurarsi che la macchina sia spenta e che il tasto di accensione sia in posizione OFF. Rimuovere la vite del coperchio che protegge le batterie e rimuovere il coperchio del compartimento delle batterie. Inserire 4 batterie stilo AA (incluse) nel compartimento delle batterie seguendo la polarità corretta come indicato. Rimettere il coperchio e chiuderlo con la vite. (Avviso Rimuovere le batterie se la Quad Bike non viene usata per molto tempo.) 1.4 Installazione delle batterie nel telecomando Il vano batteria si trova sul lato del controller con impugnatura a pistola. Rimuovere il coperchio del vano batteria dal controller. Inserire 2 batterie AA (in dotazione) nel vano batterie rispettando la corretta polarità come mostrato e riposizionare il coperchio del vano batterie. ISTRUZIONI PARTE 1 2.1 Accensione della Quad Bike Aggiungere le batterie incluse nel controller e nel Quad Bike come descritto in precedenza. Portare l'interruttore di alimentazione sul lato del controller in posizione "ON". Accendere premendo il tasto ON nella parte inferiore della Quad Bike. La macchina è pronta per l'uso. DESTRA SINISTRA Per far girare il Quad Bike dovrai anche girare il comando dello sterzo contemporaneamente a premere o tirare il grilletto dell'acceleratore. Durante la marcia in avanti, ruotare il comando dello sterzo a destra/lontano da sé per svoltare a destra ea sinistra/verso di sé per svoltare a sinistra. Quando si viaggia in retromarcia, sarà necessario ruotare il comando dello sterzo nella direzione opposta. Per esempio. per girare il Quad a destra dovrai girare il comando dello sterzo verso sinistra/verso di te. 33 2.3 Regolare la direzione di guida In alcuni casi sarà necessario regolare la direzione di guida usando il meccanismo di regolazione di sterzo situato nella parte infoeriore della Quad Bike. Steering Adjustment Control 2.4 Utilizzo di più quad Il quad con telecomando TG935 utilizza la frequenza di 2,4 GHz, ciò significa che è possibile utilizzare più auto contemporaneamente.
