Battery Health and Maintenance
Checking Battery Information
To view battery management system information, dial *#*#588#*#*. This provides details on:
- Date of manufacturing of the battery
- Date of first use of the battery after device setup by the first user
- Number of full charge/discharge cycles (reference: rated capacity)
- Measured state of health (remaining full charge capacity relative to the rated capacity in %)
Adverse Charging Methods
The following charging methods can negatively impact battery life:
- Frequent charging
- Charging for extended periods when the battery is nearly full
- Charging in high-temperature environments
Optimizing Battery Life
To improve battery endurance and life:
- Turn off wireless connection functions like WiFi and Bluetooth when not in use. This can reduce standby current by approximately 20%.
- Enable "Smart charging" (automatically turned on).
- Enable "High-power charging limit" in Settings > Battery options.
Powering the Device
For environmental reasons, a charger is not included in the package. This device can be powered using most USB power adapters and a USB Type-C cable.
