Manual of Programming a New Control

  1. Step 1: Resetting the New Control

Press all buttons of the new control simultaneously to reset it.

Visual Description: Hands holding a new car remote, with fingers pressing down on all buttons at once.

  2. Step 2: Copying the Signal

Hold the new remote and the old (original) remote close to each other. Press a single button on each remote at the same time to initiate the copying process.

Note: The new and old remotes must be in close proximity.

Visual Description: Two car remotes, one labeled "Old" and the other "New", held side-by-side. A finger is pressing a button on each remote simultaneously.

  3. Step 3: Confirmation of Copying

Both remotes will show an indicator light (glow). Do not release the buttons until the new remote's indicator light stops glowing.

Visual Description: A new car remote with an illuminated indicator light, suggesting the programming process is active.

  4. Step 4: Frequency Verification

After programming all buttons, verify their frequencies using a frequency reader. The frequencies of the new and old remotes must match.

Visual Description: A digital frequency reader displaying numerical values, indicating a check of radio frequencies.

  5. Step 5: Adjusting Frequency (if necessary)

If the frequencies do not match, open the new remote control. Locate the connector pins. Adjust the position of the connector (left, right, up, or down) according to the desired frequency range.

Visual Description: An opened car remote control revealing its internal circuit board. A connector with multiple pins is visible, along with a area for adjustment.

    Frequency Ranges by Connector Position:

    • Left: 245 to 390 MHz
    • Right: 220 to 299 MHz
    • Up: 255 to 465 MHz
    • Down: 260 to 460 MHz
  6. Step 6: Fine-Tuning Frequency

Use the variable resistor (potentiometer) located near the connector to fine-tune the frequency of the new remote until it matches the frequency of the old one.

Visual Description: A hand holding a small screwdriver or tool, adjusting a small, circular component (variable resistor) on the circuit board of a car remote, near the connector pins.

  7. Step 7: Finalizing Setup

Close the remote control. It is now programmed and ready for use.

Visual Description: A closed car remote control, indicating the completion of the programming process.
