Bench Sensor F2
Important Safety Information
⚠️ Warning: Installation must only be performed by a qualified electrician or a similarly qualified person.
1. Arrangement
Placement Guidelines:
The Bench Sensor F2 should be positioned 150 mm away from the ceiling. The Heater Sensor F1 is to be installed in the area above the heating system, near the evaporator.
Diagram Description: The diagram illustrates the relative positioning of the Bench Sensor F2 and Heater Sensor F1 within a sauna cabin, showing a 150 mm clearance from the ceiling for the Bench Sensor F2 and its placement above the heating system's evaporator.
2. Installation
Step 1: Drilling the Hole
Drill a hole with a diameter of 5-8 mm in the middle of a cabin wall panel. Ensure a 150 mm distance is maintained from the ceiling.
Diagram Description: A cross-section view shows a cabin wall panel with a 5-8 mm hole drilled. A dimension line indicates 150 mm from the top edge (ceiling) to the hole.
Step 2: Cable Routing and Connection
Pull the 2-wire connecting line, originating from the control unit, through the drilled hole from the exterior side of the cabin. Connect and secure the cable using the sensor system plug.
Diagram Description: A diagram shows the connecting cable being fed through the wall panel and connected to a sensor plug. It also indicates the use of two wood screws (4 x 16 mm) for mounting, with a range of 40-100 mm for the panel thickness or mounting depth.
3. Connection
The Bench Sensor F2 is compatible with the following control systems:
- Pro B3
- Pro C3
- Pro D3(i)
- just sauna combi
- home.com4
- K3-next
- K4-next
Wiring Details:
Connect the sensor's wires to the designated terminals on the control unit. Typically, the white wires connect to the F1 and F2 terminals, and brown wires may be used for other connections as indicated in the specific control unit's manual. The diagrams show specific terminal assignments for each system.
Diagram Description: Detailed wiring diagrams are provided for connecting the Bench Sensor F2 (and Heater Sensor F1) to various control units. These diagrams show terminal blocks (e.g., OSG STB, TS) and indicate which wires (white, brown) connect to specific pins for F1 and F2 sensors on units like home.com4, K3-next, and K4-next. The diagrams also show the sensor cable length of 3 meters.
