TYPICAL SETUP

Diagram illustrates a typical setup. Four transmitters (labeled 1-4) are shown connected to cameras via HDMI/SDI and LAN/RS485/RS422. A central receiver is connected to a monitor (HDMI/SDI), a switchboard (HDMI/SDI), a camera controller (RS485/RS422), and a PC (LAN). Diagram shows recommended antenna placement for optimal stability, indicating a 10-meter distance for one setup and a 2-meter distance for another, highlighting the importance of considering height differences between transmitter and receiver. It suggests using mushroom antennas (optional accessories) when there's a significant height difference.

RS485/RS422 INTERFACE USE METHOD

RS485 CONNECTION

Diagram shows RS485 connection. It includes a pinout table for RS485/RS422 (485-, 485+, GND, T-, T+) and a connection to a device (e.g., camera controller) with a corresponding RS485 port.

RS422 CONNECTION

Diagram shows RS422 connection. It includes a pinout table for RS422/RS485 (485-, 485+, GND, T-, T+) and a connection to a device (e.g., camera controller) with a corresponding RS422/RS485 port (labeled 1-9).
  • 1. Connect the transmitter and the receiver with the RS485/RS422 signal cable.
  • 2. As demonstrated above, connect the transmitter with the terminal device and connect the receiver with the switcher. The line sequence shall correspond to the colors.
  • 3. Select the corresponding baud rate on both the transmitter and the receiver (path: menu-system setting-serial port setting).
  • 4. The terminal equipment connected with the transmitter can be controlled by the lever arm on the switcher.

TALLY CONTROL USE METHODS

Diagram shows TALLY control setup. TALLY lights connect to the TALLY OUT interface on the transmitter. A USB Type-A interface on the receiver connects to a TALLY box, which then connects to the switcher via a D-Sub Female 25 signal cable. TALLY lights are controlled by switches on the switcher.

LAN INTERFACE USE METHOD

Diagram shows LAN interface setup. The transmitter's LAN interface connects to an IP camera via a network cable. The receiver can pull the stream through its LAN interface.
