Product Description

The ILR-1200-1 Bluetooth Rangefinder is designed as an accessory for the TUBE series thermal imaging scopes. It allows users to accurately determine target distances, enabling precise shooting. The device features a compact, lightweight design with a visible red dot and movable red dot functions. It supports both single ranging and continuous ranging modes.

Components and Controls

The ILR-1200-1 consists of the following components:

  • 1. Bluetooth laser rangefinder module: The main unit.
  • 2. Laser indicator: Shows laser status.
  • 3. Laser receive port: Receives laser signals.
  • 4. Laser launch port: Emits the laser beam.
  • 5. Quick release fixture: For mounting the rangefinder.
  • 6. Battery compartment cover: Houses the battery.
  • 7. Power button: For turning the device on/off.
  • 8. LED indicator: Shows connection and power status.

Installation

Installation with Mate

The package includes:

  • ILR-1200-1 Bluetooth Rangefinder
  • Quick release fixture
  • Insert ring for TUBE SE series
  • L-shaped wrench
  • User manual

Installation with Tube

  1. Use three inner hexagon screws to connect the bottom of the ILR-1200-1 Bluetooth rangefinder to one end of the fixture (5).
  2. Clamp the other end of the fixture, which is designed as a quick-release clamping ring, onto the TUBE series scope.
  3. The default inner diameter of the clamping ring is 30mm. If installed on the TUBE SE series, an insert ring (included in the package) is required.

Note: When the LRF is linked with TUBE, the stadiametric rangefinder function on TUBE series will not be available.

Operation and Usage

Battery Installation

  • Rotate the battery compartment cover (4) counterclockwise.
  • Place a CR123 3.7V battery into the compartment, ensuring the positive pole faces inward and the negative pole faces outward, as indicated by the label.
  • Tighten the battery compartment cover (4) clockwise.

Safety Instructions

  • Use the device within the recommended temperature range of -20°C to +50°C. Battery life may be impaired outside this range.
  • Battery capacity may drop when the device is used below zero degrees Celsius; this is normal and does not indicate a defect.
  • The device features low power shutdown protection: when the battery voltage is lower than 2.8V, the device will automatically shut down with a 30-second countdown prompt.

Laser Calibration

After installation, if the laser's indicated position is inconsistent with the reticle center on the Tube, laser calibration is required:

  1. Select a common observation distance.
  2. Loosen the two screws (9) on the fixture (5) slightly.
  3. Ensure there is a spherical adapter ring (10) between the laser rangefinder and the fixture (5).
  4. Fine-tune the angle at the connection between the laser rangefinder and the fixture (5) until the position indicated by the laser is aligned with the reticle center of the Tube.
  5. Then tighten the two screws (9) to fix the angle.

Linkage and Usage with Tube

  • Turn on the Bluetooth function on the Tube.
  • Turn on the laser rangefinder by long-pressing the Power button (7) for 2 seconds.
  • When the laser rangefinder module is on, it will automatically search and connect with the Tube series.
  • Manual connection is also supported. On the Tube series, search and select the ID of the rangefinder, which can be found on the label affixed to the body or package of the rangefinder.
  • When the LED indicator (8) on the rangefinder switches from blinking (green) to solid green for 3 seconds and then turns off, the connection is successful.
  • Press the Power button (7) twice to turn the laser indicator (2) on or off.
  • After use, long-press the Power button (7) to power off the rangefinder.

Attention! Do not point the laser indicator directly to human eyes or faces.

Software Upgrade

The ILR-1200-1 Bluetooth laser rangefinder supports software upgrades. Users can download the upgrade program from the official website to their mobile device and upgrade it through the InfOutdoorBC APP.

  1. Download the upgrade program from the official website.
  2. Download and install the InfOutdoorBC APP on your mobile device from the APP Store.
  3. Turn on the Bluetooth of the mobile device.
  4. Long-press the Power button (7) to turn on the rangefinder.
  5. Open the InfOutdoorBC APP and tap the [Bluetooth Icon] in the APP to enter the search interface.
  6. Tap the [Search Icon] (Q) at the bottom to search for the Bluetooth signal.
  7. Select the name "Infiray-ILR-1200-1" and connect.
  8. When the connection is successful, an upgrade message is displayed automatically.
  9. Select "Yes" to enter the firmware upgrade interface, and tap the "Select File" option to find and select the upgrade program previously downloaded.
  10. Tap the "Start Upgrade" option. The percentage of the upgrade process will appear on the interface until the update is successful.

Body-worn Operation

This device was tested for typical body-support operations. To comply with RF exposure requirements, a minimum separation distance of 0.5cm must be maintained between the user's body and the handset, including the antenna. Third-party belt-clips, holsters, and similar accessories used by this device should not contain any metallic components. Body accessories that do not meet these requirements may not comply with RF exposure requirements and should be avoided. Use only the supplied or an approved antenna.
