Important Notes

  • All existing keys must be present during the pairing process. Once a new key is paired, all previous keys are erased from memory and will not function until re-paired.
  • The new key blade must be cut before programming. This can be done at any local hardware store.
  • Ensure the vehicle battery is in good condition and fully charged before pairing. Turn off headlights, radio, and A/C fan to minimize battery draw.
  • Do not use the EZ Installer™ while the vehicle is in motion. Unplug it from the OBD port before driving.
  • For security, a tamper-evident label is over the EZ Installer connector. If this label is missing, damaged, or shows "VOID", exchange the Simple Key at the retailer.
  • Familiarize yourself with the Simple Key's compatibility with your vehicle's make, model, and year before pairing.

A: No, the EZ Installer can only pair Simple Keys to one vehicle. You can pair additional Simple Keys to the same vehicle. Visit CarKeysExpress.com or your local retailer for additional keys.
