Connect the transmitter/charging dock to a compatible power source using the AC adapter. Slide the ON/OFF switch to the "ON" position. The POWER LED indicator will light up BLUE.
Charge and Turn On the Headphone
Charge the headphones for 2.5 hours prior to initial use. Place the headphones on the transmitter/charging dock; charging begins automatically, and the CHARGE LED on the transmitter/charging dock lights up RED. When charging is complete, the CHARGE LED on the transmitter/charging dock will turn off.
Charging is complete when the indicator turns off.
Turn On the Headphone
The headphones turn on automatically when you take them off the transmitter/charging dock or wear them. You can also press and hold the multifunction button for 3 seconds to turn them on manually. The headphones will then auto-connect to the transmitter, and the transmitter LED indicator will turn SOLID blue. Auto-connection takes about 1-2 minutes.
If the headphone volume is too low, ensure both headphone and TV volumes are set to an appropriate level.
Adjust Volume on Headphone
Short press the "+" or "-" buttons to raise or lower the volume. You will hear a "beep" when the volume reaches maximum.
When using the transmitter connection, the headphones' play, pause, and previous/next track button operations are not functional.
Pair and Connect Again (if Auto-Connection Failed)
Option 1: Re-docking and Restarting
- Place the headphones back on the charging dock.
- Switch off the transmitter using the ON/OFF switch, then switch it on again.
- Take the headphones away from the charging dock or wear them on your head. Auto-connection should complete within minutes. If not, try again.
Option 2: Clear Pair History / Restore Factory Default Settings
Transmitter: When the transmitter is powered on and the headphones have been removed, press and hold the "PAIR" button for 8 seconds. The red LED will light up for 1 second, then the blue LED will light up for 1 second. Power the transmitter on again to complete the factory reset.
Headphones: When the headphones are powered on, press and hold both the Volume + and Volume buttons for 5 seconds. Then, switch off and power on the headphones again.
After factory reset, you need to put both the transmitter and headphones into pairing mode for re-connection.

Use BTH01 with Your TV
Check your TV's output options before setup. BTH01 works with Optical output, AUX 3.5mm output, and RCA (labeled "AUDIO OUT") output.
Jack Options | Natively Supported? |
---|---|
Optical OUT | ✅ |
RCA jacks (labeled "AUDIO OUT") | ✅ |
AUX/3.5mm jacks (usually "AUDIO IN") | ✅ |
Other RCA | ❌ |
TVs with OPTICAL Audio Out
Connect using the Optical audio cable.
After powering on BTH01 and connecting cables, you should hear sound. If not:
- Ensure your TV Speaker is set to "External Speaker".
- Ensure TV Audio Format is set to "PCM". If "DOLBY/DTS" is selected, turn it OFF. (This is IMPORTANT).
Setting menus may differ between TV brands and models. To ensure the TV audio out signal is valid, contact your TV manufacturer with your TV model number and ask how to set TV audio out to Optical and Audio Out Format to PCM.
TVs with AUX 3.5mm Audio Out
Connect using the 3.5mm audio cable.
After powering on BTH01 and connecting cables, you should hear sound. If not:
- Ensure your TV speaker is set to "Headset".
Setting menus may differ between TV brands and models.
TVs with RCA Audio Out (Red/White ports labeled "AUDIO OUT")
Connect using the 3.5mm to RCA audio cable.
After powering on BTH01 and connecting cables, you should hear sound. If not:
- Ensure you use the TV's Red/White ports labeled "AUDIO OUT". Other Red/White ports are incorrect (This is IMPORTANT).
- Ensure your TV Speaker is set to "External Speaker".
For AUX and RCA out, you can test the signal by inserting the audio wire directly into a wired headphone to see if you can hear sound. If not, contact your TV manufacturer for assistance with setting your TV audio out.
How to Set Up with AV Receiver
For most AV Receivers (e.g., Yamaha, Denon), use the large headphone jack on the front. You will need a 6.35mm to 3.5mm audio adapter.
Test the "PHONES" jack with wired headphones to ensure you can hear sound.
NOTE: Do NOT use the RCA ports on the back of an AV receiver. These are not suitable and will not work or could permanently damage your BTH01 transmitter!
Use Headphones Independently with Cellphone
The BTH01 headphones can be used separately with a cellphone. Follow these steps:
- Ensure the transmitter is off.
- Enter Headphones into PAIRING MODE: The BTH01 headphones enter pairing mode automatically after powering on or disconnecting. To turn on: when powered off, press and hold the multifunction button for 3 seconds until the blue light appears. Pairing mode: Blue and Red lights flash alternately.
- Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone/tablet. Find and select "BTH01" to pair and connect.
The next time you use your headphones this way, select "BTH01" on your smartphone/tablet to reconnect.

Tips
Adjust Volume on Headphone
Short press "+" or "-" to raise or lower the volume. A "beep" indicates maximum volume.
After Use
Place headphones on the transmitter/charging dock to recharge. The headphones will switch off automatically.
Troubleshooting: Auto-connection Failed
- Put the headphones back on the charging dock.
- Switch off the transmitter, then switch it on again.
- Take the headphones away from the charging dock or wear them. Auto-connection should complete within minutes. If not, try again.
Troubleshooting: Sound is Cut Off
This can be due to signal interference with the transmitter or low battery. Adjust the transmitter's position for a good connection and ensure the headphones are sufficiently charged.
Troubleshooting: No Sound from Headphones While Watching TV (Connected to Transmitter)
- Ensure your TV audio is set to "External Speaker".
- If using Optical audio input: Ensure your TV audio format is set to "PCM". The transmitter can decode PCM but not Dolby/DTS. Ensure the 3.5mm audio cable is NOT plugged in, as the transmitter prioritizes AUX input.
- If using AUX audio input: Ensure the transmitter is connected to the correct analog audio port on the audio source. Plug wired headphones into your audio source's audio output to check if it works.
Headphone Charging
When the headphone battery is low, the headphone indicator will flash RED, and you will hear a "beep" every 5 minutes. Place the headphones on the transmitter/charging dock to charge. The CHARGE indicator will light up RED when charging properly. If not properly seated, the indicator will not light up. The Red CHARGE LED on the transmitter/charging dock turns off when charging is complete. You do not need to remove the headphones.
Better Reception
The BTH01 has a working range of up to 100 feet, which may vary by environment. If you experience noise or interference, move closer to the transmitter. "Dead spots" where the RF signal cannot be received can occur even within the working range; this is inherent to RF signals. Slightly moving the transmitter can correct these "dead spots".
Suggested Care & Maintenance
- Power off when not in use or before storing.
- Keep away from excessive heat and humidity.
- Do not use chemicals or detergents to clean the product.
- Extreme temperatures can shorten the lifespan of internal components.
