Inputs and Volume Settings
Multiple sources and devices can be connected simultaneously, with all inputs open and active for easy switching between your tablet, phone, TV, or other devices. For volume adjustment, it's recommended to first set a level on the HD3 and then use the volume control on your device to adjust the overall level. Experiment to find your preferred volume settings.
Other Features
Variable Audio Output
The HD3 features a variable full-range preamp audio output. This allows connection to a subwoofer, other Audioengine powered speakers, or wireless music streaming to other systems using an Audioengine wireless adapter. The output volume is adjustable via the HD3 front panel.
Mounting Options
Threaded 1/4"x 20 brass inserts are located on the bottom of each speaker cabinet for attaching to floor stands or wall-mounting brackets.
Break-in Period
Your HD3 speakers will sound great out of the box and improve over time. It's recommended to allow 40 to 50 hours of break-in time before critical listening.
Cleaning
Avoid using solvents or cleaners on Audioengine cabinets or speakers. Clean with a soft, dry cloth only.
