HawkEye FishPod 5X Troubleshoong & Tips Guide
· Batery Only Charging to 85% - This issue is resolved by updang to the latest
soware version from the Appstore or Google Play Store- It is not a hardware issue, but rather a glitch in a previous soware version.
· Seeing Constant Line Of Fish - Adjust the sensivity, if icons are turned on in
VirtuView or FishScape thermoclines will show as a constant line of fish. Turn down sensivity or switch to FishScape HD.
· Unit Not Working In Pool ­ Sonar cannot funcon in a pool, bucket or any
container. The signal bounces off of the sides and creates errac readings. It must be an open body of water.
· Can I Use While On Boat Moving ­ Yes, you can set it in the hull and use some
petroleum jelly as a binder it will shoot through (it will also work if there is a litle water in the bilge it can sit in)
· Batery Life - FishPod = full day of fishing. If phone is older, it may only give you 4-5
hours of batery life due to the need for the screen to be always on. We suggest using a power source for your phone such as connecng it to the 12 volt source on your boat or using a portable charger/power bank.
