SAFETY MEASURES AND OPERATION RECOMMENDATIONS
Read the operation instructions carefully before using the thermopot and keep it for future reference.
· Use the thermopot for its intended purpose only, as it is stated in this manual.
· Mishandling the thermopot can lead to its breakage and cause harm to the user or damage to his/her property and it is not covered by warranty.
· The thermopot is intended for boiling drinking water only, do not heat any other liquids.
· Make sure that operating voltage of the thermopot indicated on the label corresponds to your home mains voltage.
· The power plug is equipped with a grounding contact, plug it into the socket with reliable grounding contact. In case of short circuit the grounding reduces the risk of electric shock.
· Contact an electrical technician, if you are not sure that your sockets are installed properly and grounded.
· To prevent fire do not use adapters designed to plug the power cord plug to the mains socket without grounding contact.
· In case of sparking in the mains socket and occurrence of smell of burning, unplug the unit and apply to the organization maintaining your home mains.

· If smoke appears from the body of the thermopot, unplug the unit and take measures to prevent fire spreading.
· Do not use the thermopot outdoors. · It is not recommended to use the unit during lightning
storms. · Protect the unit from impacts, falling, vibrations and
other mechanical stress. · Do not fill the thermopot with water directly from the
faucet; to fill the thermopot use a suitable bowl. · Place the thermopot keeping at least 20 cm gap
between the thermopot body and the wall and at least 50 cm gap above the thermopot. · Do not leave the thermo pot plugged into the electrical outlet unattended. · Do not use the thermopot in proximity to kitchen sink, in bathrooms, near swimming pools or other containers filled with water. · If the unit is dropped into water, unplug it immediately, and only then take the unit out of water. Apply to the service center for testing or repairing the unit. · Do not use the thermopot near heating appliances, heat sources or open flame. · Do not use the thermopot in places where aerosols are used or sprayed, and in proximity to inflammable liquids. · Place the thermopot on a flat stable surface; do not place it on the edge of a table. Do not let the power cord hang from the edge of the table and make sure

instr BR6001.indd 6

Notes:
- if you pour a small amount of water, the temperature may
- slightly differ from the digital temperature readings (19). In this case, if the container is cold and the set water temperature is low, it is recommended to preheat the container into which the water will be dispensed;
- the ambient temperature may change periodically, which may lead to slight inaccuracy in the water supply. The volume of water supplied may differ by up to + - 15% from the digital readings (18);
- the thermopot has a memory function if the power cord plug is inserted into an electrical outlet. If you unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet, the settings will be reset and you will need to reenter the desired water temperature and volume.
CALIBRATION
· If you find that the water temperature and volume are not accurate enough, follow these steps:
1. Fill the water tank (6) to the maximum level. 2. Place a container under the water drain spout (3)
into which you can collect all the water from the tank (6) (at least 3 liters). To make it easier to install the container, you can remove the drip tray (1). Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet. 3. Press and hold the button (15) « » for 3 seconds, «AUT» will be displayed in symbols (19), «000»

EN 11
will be displayed in symbols (18) (continuous water supply). 4. Press the on/off/water supply button (14) « » to confirm. 5. The thermopot will enter calibration mode and automatically exit after completion. · The calibration mode time is about 4-5 minutes. During calibration, water will be supplied to the installed container (at least 3 liters).
«RESET» BUTTON
· If an emergency situation occurs and the heating element overheats, the thermal switch will be on and the thermopot will be switched off.
· Unplug the unit, let the thermopot cool down for 20-30 minutes, then lift the tray (1) and remove it, remove the grid (2), pour the water out from the tray (1).
· Turn the tray over (1) and remove the key to press the reset button.
· Remove the water tank (6). · Insert the key into the opening of the reset button (8),
slightly press the key until the characteristic click of switching the thermal switch on. · Reinstall the water tank (6). · Fill the tank (6) with water, plug the power cord into an electrical outlet, turn on the thermopot and check its operation. · If the thermopot is not swtiched on, this may indicate another malfunction, in which case contact

the service center for inspection or repair of the thermopot.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
· Unplug the thermopot before cleaning. · Clean the outer surface of the thermopot body with a
slightly damp cloth and then wipe it dry. · Use neutral detergents to remove dirt, do not use
metal brushes, abrasives and solvents. · Do not immerse the thermopot and the power cord
into water or other liquids. · Do not put the thermopot in a dishwashing machine.
Removing the mineral deposits (descaling)
· After using the thermopot for 10 hours, the « » indicator (10) will flash, reminding you to descale.
· Scale, appearing inside the thermopot heater, influences the water taste and disturbs the heat exchange between water and the heating element. It also risks damaging the heating element. Burning of the heating element caused by the large amount of scale is not covered by warranty.
· To remove the scale fill the water tank (6) with a mixture of one part ordinary vinegar and two parts water up to the maximum water level.
· Insert the power cord plug into the mains socket. · Place a container under the water drain spout (3)
into which you can collect all the water from the tank (6) (at least 3 liters). To make it easier to install the container, you can remove the drip tray (1).

· Press and hold the button (12) « » for 3 seconds, the descaling function will turn on and the cleaning solution will be supplied to the installed container. Once all the cleaning solution has exited the tank (6), cleaning of mineral deposits is completed and the « » indicator (10) will stop flashing.
· When the removal of mineral scale is complete, unplug the unit and wait for some time for the water in the heating element of the thermopot to cool down.
· Remove the water tank (6). · Lift the tray (1) and remove it. · Position the thermo pot over a sink, for example,
and unscrew the drain plug (9) by turning it counterclockwise. · Wait for the remaining cleaning solution to drain out, then reinstall the plug (9) and screw it in by turning it clockwise until it is tight. Note: if you notice water droplets under the thermo pot, tighten the plug more securely.
· Install the thermopot and fill the water tank (6) with clean water to remove any remaining cleaning solution.
· Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet. · Place a cup with a volume of at least 200 ml on the
grid (2) of the removable drip tray (1), make sure that the cup is under the spout for pouring water (3). · To unlock the thermo pot, press and hold down the
button (16) « » for about 3-5 seconds.
