How to Operate
CAUTION: Operating the juicer without ingredients can damage the juicing screw. Do not operate continuously for more than 20 minutes to prevent motor overheating. Allow the juicer to rest for 30 minutes after continuous use.
- Step 1: Open the automatic hopper lid by lifting the locking tab and insert ingredients. Do not exceed the maximum capacity line.
- Step 2: Press the locking tab to completely close the auto hopper lid. Place juice cups under the outlets. Ensure the smart cap remains open; closing it can cause juice to flow back and leak.
- Step 3: Press the [FWD] switch to start operation. If the juicer stops, switch to [STOP (O)], then use the [REVERSE (REV)] switch to push ingredients up. The [REVERSE (REV)] switch works only when pressed.
- Step 4: Add ingredients through the auto hopper hole while the juicer is running. Opening the lid during operation will stop the process.
- Step 5: Turn off the power switch once juicing is complete and all pulp and fiber are discharged. Run the juicer until all pulp is expelled.
Ingredients Preparation
CAUTION: Do not overfill the hopper. For best results, cut round ingredients into quarters and juice soft ingredients with hard ones. When mixing ingredients, start with soft and fibrous items, followed by hard ones like carrots.
Fruits
- Hard Seed Fruits: Remove hard seeds. Cut ingredients to fit the auto hopper (e.g., apples, peaches, tomatoes, nectarines, apricots, plums).
- Thick-skinned Fruits: Peel skins and cut into appropriate sizes. Remove hard seeds (e.g., oranges, melons, mangoes, pineapples, dragon fruit).
- Soft Fruits: Juice soft fruits together with hard ingredients for better efficiency (e.g., strawberries, kiwis, tomatoes, pineapples, mangoes).
Vegetables
- Leaf/Stem Vegetables: Cut fibrous vegetables into 1-2 inch (3-5cm) pieces or less. Cut long or thin ingredients into 1cm pieces (e.g., water parsley, wheatgrass). Large fibrous pieces may wrap around the screw.
- Root Vegetables: Peel and cut into pieces smaller than 1 inch (2.5cm). Cut long ingredients vertically (e.g., carrots, beets, ginger).
Ingredients Requiring Special Handling
- Pomegranate: Remove peel, juice only seeds.
- Grapes: Remove stems, feed grapes slowly into the hopper.
- Nuts (Almonds, Peanuts, Walnuts, etc.): Soak nuts for at least 8 hours. Add soaked nuts slowly, one spoonful at a time with water, to extract nut milk. Ensure the smart cap is closed during nut milk extraction.
Do Not Insert the Following Ingredients:
- Vegetable/Animal Oils: Avoid ingredients like sesame, butter, margarine. Contact with the screw can degrade performance and cause damage.
- Cannot be Juiced: Avoid tough or fibrous materials like coconut, arrowroot, sugarcane, rice.
- Frozen Ingredients: Do not use frozen fruits or ice, as this may cause breakage and damage. Use a blank strainer for frozen fruit.
How to Disassemble and Clean
CAUTION: Clean all parts thoroughly with running water, except the motor base. Do not use water hotter than 40°C. Do not use a dishwasher, dryer, or microwave. Clean immediately after use to prevent residue from drying and becoming difficult to remove.
- Step 1: Separate the top set from the body.
- Step 2: Open the auto hopper by turning the handle counterclockwise and separate it from the drum set.
- Step 3: Disassemble the juicing strainer and screw from the juicing drum. Gripping and turning the screw helps with disassembly.
- Step 4: Wipe the base with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not wash the base with water.
- Step 5: Wash the juicing drum under running water. The silicone ring and smart cap can be detached for cleaning. Open the silicone plug at the back of the juicing drum base and clean it without complete detachment.
- Step 6: Clean the outside of the juicing screw with a dish scrub under running water. Use the brush tip to remove residue from crevices. Ensure metal parts are wiped dry.
- Step 7: After washing the juicing strainer with a brush, dry it before use.
How to Use the Blank Strainer
CAUTION: Recommended amount for single use is less than 300g. Use frozen ingredients immediately after removing from freezer for best results. Insert prepared ingredients in small amounts (less than 3cm) into the auto-feeding inlet.
- Step 1: Place the ice cream strainer's ring into the groove of the ice cream strainer.
- Step 2: Place the ice cream strainer onto the screw and assemble by aligning the marking points on the drum container and strainer.
- Step 3: Turn the auto hopper clockwise until its markings align with the drum container's lock markings.
- Step 4: Place a juice cup under the outlet (ice cream dispenses from the pulp outlet). The strainer ring is detachable and washable. Ensure the ring is properly fastened. Use the pusher if frozen ingredients remain in the screw or hopper.
How to Use the Citrus Maker (Optional)
CAUTION: Clean immediately after use to prevent residue buildup and performance degradation.
- Step 1: Place the strainer onto the citrus maker drum.
- Step 2: Insert the cone into the center of the strainer to assemble.
- Step 3: Position the assembled citrus maker onto the base clamp and press the power button to start.
- Step 4: Cut fruits in half and press them gently onto the cone. If pulp accumulates excessively, wash the strainer and resume juicing. Juice yield may vary by ingredient.
Troubleshooting Q&A
When there is no power:
Check power cord connection, ensure all parts (drum lid, juicing bowl, top-set, body) are properly assembled and aligned.
Low juice yield:
Juice yield varies with ingredient water content and freshness. Soaking ingredients in cold water for 30 minutes may help. For ingredients with small seeds, cleaning the drum set between uses is recommended to prevent residue buildup.
The auto hopper will not close:
Ensure the juicing screw is fully inserted into the strainer for the lid to close properly.
Noise from the juicer:
Check assembly. Operating without ingredients or liquid can cause loud noise and damage. Friction noise between screw and strainer stops when ingredients are added. If noise occurs with ingredients, check ingredient size (do not use hard pieces over 1 inch). Ensure the juicer is on a level surface.
During operation, the drum shakes:
Vibration of the juicing screw and strainer is normal as they crush and squeeze ingredients. Stronger fibers may cause more vibration.
During juicing, the motor stopped:
Check power cord and assembly. Overloading with ingredients can cause a stop. If stopped, use the REVERSE-OFF-FORWARD sequence 2-3 times. If the juicer stops due to overload protection after 30+ minutes of continuous use, let it cool for 30-60 minutes. Remove hard seeds from ingredients to prevent damage.
Layer separation of juice:
This is normal and depends on ingredient density, not an indicator of oxidation like with high-speed juicers.
Juice dripping down the body:
Ensure silicone parts at the pulp outlet are correctly plugged in before assembly.
Is it possible to juice ingredients with tough fiber?
Fibrous ingredients like celery or ginger can wrap around the screw. Cut into smaller pieces and alternate with other ingredients. Clean the top set regularly if juicing large amounts of fibrous produce.
Plastic parts are discolored:
Clean immediately after use. Ingredients rich in carotenoids (carrots, spinach) can stain plastic. Rub stained areas with vegetable oil or lemon juice, then clean with mild detergent. Do not use vegetable oil on the screw or strainer.
Using for different purposes:
This juicer is designed for home use (fruits, vegetables, soaked nuts, soybeans). Do not use for extracting oils or butters, or with ingredients high in vegetable/animal oil. Contact with oil on the screw/strainer can cause damage.
