Kit Assembly
Step by Step
Step 1
Unpack the frame from the bag. Stand with backer side toward the floor. Stretch out the frame so it lays flat on the floor.
Visual Description: A small diagram shows a collapsed display frame.
Step 2
Lock the connecting arms into place. Stand the frame upright once all the connectors are securely snapped in the lock position.
Visual Description: Two images illustrate locking the frame arms. The first shows arms being pulled into place, with a red cross ❌ symbol indicating an incorrect action. The second shows arms securely locked, with a green checkmark ✔️ symbol indicating the correct state.
Step 3
Gather all the lighting strips and align so they are over each "X" of the frame, then pull the spring-loaded clip apart to fit onto the "X". Make sure the orientation of the male and female connectors allows for linking them together.
Visual Description: A diagram shows lighting strips being attached to the frame structure, with red arrows pointing to the connection points on the frame's 'X' joints.
Step 4
Connect the light strips in series for both top and bottom sides.
Step 5
Connect the long extension cord to the female end of the top light strips in series. Run the long extension cord down the side.
Visual Description: A diagram shows an extension cord being connected to the end of a series of lights, with a red arrow indicating the direction of the cord.
Step 6
First, attach the extension cord from the top row of lights to the bottom row of lights.
Visual Description: A diagram illustrates connecting the top row of lights to the bottom row using an extension cord.
Step 7
Attach the light strip to the power supply. Then, attach the power cord to the power supply. Plug in the power cord for test lighting.
Visual Description: Diagrams show the light strip connecting to a power supply unit, and a power cord connecting to the same unit. Labels 'Power Supply' and 'Power Cord' are present.
Step 8
Once the lights are all set, it is important to disconnect the power to the lights before applying the graphic. Lay the frame back down on the floor. Apply the graphic to the frame; the endcaps do not have to be immediately applied.
Visual Description: A diagram shows a backlit display frame lying flat, with a graphic being applied to it. The graphic itself is a blue background with a tree design.
Step 9
Stand the unit back to the upright position. Power On the lights and verify that they all work. Apply the end caps by wrapping them to the back side and velcro them closed. Setup Complete.
Visual Description: An image shows the fully assembled backlit display with its graphic. A smaller inset image shows hands applying the end caps to the back of the display.
