Installing the Stand
Follow these steps to install the monitor stand:
- Place the monitor face down on a soft, stable surface with the screen facing down.
- Remove the stand accessory from the box and adjust the stand to its upright position.
- Align the stand with the mounting holes on the back of the monitor and secure it with screws.
- Using short screws and spacers, secure the stand to the monitor. Note: Do not use long screws to fix the stand, as it may damage or deform the internal parts of the monitor.
- Stand the monitor up and adjust the monitor angle up and down.

Connecting to Power
- Connect the power cord to the power jack at the rear of the device.
- Connect the power cord plug to a power outlet.

Connecting External Devices
HDMI Connection
Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the monitor's HDMI port. Then, connect the other end of the cable to the HDMI port of the computer.
NOTE: The monitor is equipped with one HDMI 1.4 port.

VGA Connection
Connect one end of a VGA cable to the monitor's VGA port. Then, connect the other end of the VGA cable to the VGA port of the computer.

Touch Function Control
Before using the touch-function, ensure the USB Type A to Type A cable is connected to the computer and the Windows operating system is running.
When using the touch-function, please note:
- The USB cable may need to be re-plugged in (after five seconds) to resume if the USB cable is unplugged, or if the computer resumes from Sleep Mode.
- The monitor does not accurately or slowly follow touch when you touch the screen.
- Ensure your hardware and Sound-Tablet PC Settings are configured correctly.
- Select Calibration to calibrate your touch screen.
- Follow the instructions provided.

Audio Connection
Plug an audio cable into the Audio port of the monitor. Plug the other end into headphones.
NOTE: The monitor is also equipped with dual speakers.

Adjusting the Viewing Angle
- For optimal viewing, we recommend that you look at the full face of the monitor, then adjust the monitor to the angle that is most comfortable for you.
- Lower the screen to prevent the monitor from falling while changing the angle.
- You can adjust the monitor's angle from 5° to 50°.
- Do not touch the screen when you change the angle. It may cause damage or break the touch screen and LCD screen.

Turning the Device On/Off
- Plug the power cord into a power outlet.
- Press the Power key to turn the monitor on.
- To turn the monitor off, press the Power key again.
NOTE: The monitor will still consume some power as long as the power outlet is connected. To completely turn off the monitor, please disconnect the power plug from the power outlet.

On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu
Press the MENU key to activate the On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu.
When the OSD Menu appears, use the UP/DOWN keys to select the option. The font of the Selected menu will appear red. MENU is equivalent to the ENTER key. The UP/DOWN keys can be used to select sub-menus up and down or to select parameter values.

Hot Keys
- Press the key to call up the volume adjustment menu.
- Press the key to call up the brightness adjustment menu.

Troubleshooting
This section describes common problems that may arise when using the monitor.
Problem or Issue: No Power
Possible Solutions:
- Check the OSD Menu. OSD controls are accessible.
- Make sure the power cord is properly plugged in and the power outlet is working. Try plugging another electrical device into the same outlet to verify that the outlet supplies power.
- Ensure the power button is on. Connect the monitor to a different computer to verify the problem is not with the computer.
Problem or Issue: Screen Image is dark

- Turn off the monitor, unplug the power cord, plug it back in, and turn the monitor on.
- Restart the computer to factory settings.

Possible Solutions:

- Confirm whether the monitor is in eye protection mode or warm mode.
Maintenance
General Precautions
- Make sure the monitor is turned off and the power cable is unplugged from the monitor before cleaning.
- Never spray or pour liquid directly onto the screen or case.
- Handle the monitor with care, as a darker-colored monitor, if dropped, may show more clearly than a lighter-colored monitor.
Cleaning the Screen
- Wipe the screen with a clean, soft, lint-free cloth. This removes dust and other particles.
- If the screen is still not clean, apply a small amount of non-ammonia, non-alcohol based cleaner onto a clean, soft, lint-free cloth, then wipe the surface.
Cleaning the Case
- Use a soft, dry cloth.
- If the case is still not clean, apply a small amount of non-ammonia, non-alcohol based, mild non-abrasive detergent onto a clean, soft, lint-free cloth, then wipe the surface.
