Improper use may result in injury and damage to the nozzle. WARNING The maximum operating pressure for 1/8M TF-F 24-8-010 PPS-IN and 1/4M TF-R 8-010 PP-IN is 0.7 MPa, and the heat resistance is 50°C. Use 1/4M TF-F 42-16-010 PPS within the operating range shown below. The heat resistance for both the supply air and ambient conditions changes depending on the applied pressure. Operating pressure and temperature range for 1/4M TF-F 42-16-010 PPS WARNING Avoid a sudden increase in air pressure. WARNING Do not use in freezing environments. H. Ikeuchi & Co., Ltd. CERJET® p. 2 2. Before Use (Instructions & Cautions) CAUTION Be sure to flush the pipes before installing the nozzle to remove any dirt and foreign matter. CAUTION Apply sealant or sealing tape to the nozzle threads. CAUTION When re-assembling, screw in the nozzle by hand, making sure it is screwed in correctly. Then, use a torque wrench or appropriate tool on the wrench flats of the nozzle to finish tightening it with the recommended torque specified in Table 1. Do not apply excessive force or use any section other than the wrench flats to tighten, to avoid causing damage. Table 1. Disassembly Disassemble the nozzle in a clean, dust-free environment. Always clean the nozzle surface before disassembly to prevent any dust and dirt from entering the nozzle. Be careful not to lose any parts. Procedure Remove the nozzle (part #1) from the socket (#2). Diagram Caution After disassembly, purge the inside of the nozzle with compressed air. Note: Appearance and dimensions may vary depending on nozzle codes. H. Ikeuchi & Co., Ltd. CC EE RR JJ EE TT ®® p. 4 4. Maintenance Impurities are most likely to adhere to the orifice of the nozzle tip. Pay special attention to check the condition of this part. Carefully remove any dust and dirt with compressed air or a soft brush. Clean each part thoroughly from foreign particles to maintain performance. 5. Reassembly Procedure Screw the nozzle (#1) into the socket (#2). Diagram Caution Refer to Table 1 on page 2 for the tightening torque. Before assembling, apply sealant or sealing tape to the nozzle threads. Note: Appearance and dimensions may vary depending on nozzle codes. 8. Troubleshooting If there is a problem, please check the following items first. If the problem persists, please replace the nozzle. Problem No air blowing, or irregular blow pattern. Possible reason Air pressure is too low. Nozzle is clogged. Air leakage Sealant or sealing tape is damaged or worn. Nozzles are not screwed in tight enough. Solution Check the pressure in the pipe and apply the proper pressure. Clean with ultrasonic cleaner and air blower. Replace or change the sealant or sealing tape. Tighten the nozzles properly (see page 2). 9. Warranty There is a one year warranty from the date of our shipment.
