- Place batteries within reach of setup location.
- Keep sensors and weather station 0.15-0.3 meter or 5-10 feet for at least 15 minutes after installing batteries, to allow the sensors and station to connect repeatedly.
Download and Connect Tuya Smart App
Search for the "Tuya Smart" app (or "Smart Life" app, often compatible) on the iOS App Store or Android Google Play. Download and install the app. Register an account, log in, and ensure your mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi hotspot the weather station will use for pairing.
The app icon is typically a stylized "t" or similar.
Quick Setup Guide
- Insert batteries into the Wireless Outdoor Sensor and set the desired channel using the C6 switch.
- Plug the power cord into the weather station.
- Pair the weather station with Wi-Fi and server information following the prompts in the Tuya Smart app. Refer to the app's Wi-Fi pairing instructions.
- Configure basic settings such as time/date format and units within the app or on the station.
- Insert batteries into the weather station. Settings are retained even if power is lost.
- Place the remote sensor in its desired outdoor location after 5 minutes.
WIFI Pairing Process
After the weather station is powered on, it should automatically enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing ? icon.
