Using JVC KV-M700 with VCD/CD CHANGER CH-X202V
Connection
Connect the JVC KV-M700 to the VOCAL terminal of the CH-X202V video CD unit. For detailed instructions, please refer to the CH-X202V user manual.
Selecting Output Sound Mode
If the audio source is a stereo recording or a multiplex karaoke disc, you can select the desired output sound mode. Press the VOCAL button on the remote control repeatedly to cycle through the following modes:
- LR: For playing back normal stereo sound. This mode is automatically selected when the unit is powered on.
- LL: When playing a multiplex karaoke disc, this mode outputs audio only through the left channel of the speakers.
- RR: When playing a multiplex karaoke disc, this mode outputs audio only through the right channel of the speakers.
- MOD1: This mode is designed for reducing the lead vocals on a stereo disc.
[Note] When MOD1 is selected, lead vocals may not be completely reduced on discs featuring duets, strong echo, chorus effects, or minimal instrumentation. While lead vocals will be attenuated, they will not be entirely removed.
Enjoying Digest Play
The Digest Play feature allows you to view still pictures captured from a track, one per second, in sequence. The screen is divided into nine portions to display these images simultaneously (refer to the illustration above).
To change the play mode, press and hold the VOCAL button on the remote control for more than 1 second. The play modes change as follows:
- NORMAL: Standard playback mode. This mode is automatically selected when the unit is powered on.
- DIGEST: Activates the Digest Play mode.
[Note] On some video CDs, images displayed during Digest Play may appear slightly distorted. This is a normal characteristic and not a malfunction.
