Safety Warnings

Always follow the precautions below during device use. This will reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and other accidents.

• The device is a sensitive technical device; please protect it from drops and impacts.
• Please do not expose the device to strong electromagnetic fields or radio waves. These can cause device malfunction or damage recorded footage.
• Do not expose the device to extremely high or low temperatures, or direct sunlight.
• Please use a branded Micro SD memory card with the device. Support for products from unknown manufacturers is not guaranteed.
• Protect the Micro SD card from magnetism, as it can cause damage to the data stored on the card.
• If you notice the device overheating, emitting smoke, or an unpleasant odor after connecting it to the power outlet, immediately disconnect it from the power outlet to prevent fire.
• Do not leave the device within reach of small children.
• The device is not a toy! Children must only use the device under parental supervision at all times! Keep the device, its accessories, and packaging parts away from small children, as small parts can cause choking or other injuries!
• Store the device in a cool, dry, and dust-free place.
• Always create a backup of your important recordings! The manufacturer is not responsible for data loss. The designated service center performing device repairs does not perform data recovery or backup. Only authorized personnel (authorized service center) can disassemble the device.
• When mounting the device, always ensure it is securely attached. An improperly mounted device may be damaged and cause serious injury!
• Disconnect the power adapter from the device before maintenance.
• Protect the adapter cable. Route the cable so it cannot be stepped on or damaged by objects placed on or near it. Pay special attention to the cable at the device's connector.
• Use only a power adapter compatible with the device (5V/1A) (not included). Using other adapters will void the warranty. Unplug the adapter from the wall socket when not using it to charge the device.
• In case of water ingress, immediately turn off the device. Do not disassemble it and do not use heating/drying devices such as hair dryers, microwave ovens, etc., for drying.
• If you have any questions, contact the service center.
• Do not use the device in extreme temperature conditions (below -20°C and above +50°C), as this may shorten the device's lifespan.
• Do not throw, knock, or shake the device, as this may damage the device's motherboard.
• During prolonged use or under continuous load, the camera may heat up. This is a normal phenomenon.
• Do not place heavy objects on the camera.
• Avoid direct strong light entering the lens!
• Position the camera so that it is at least 20 cm away from any person.
• When connecting to the internet or other networks, such as computers, viruses, unsolicited applications, or other harmful programs may be installed on the device.
• Please only accept/open connection requests or download files from secure sources.
• Create backups of your important data to avoid data loss.
• Do not use the device for purposes other than its intended use!
• Position the camera where the WiFi reception is strong.
• Keep away from large metal objects and microwave ovens, as they degrade WiFi signal quality.
• To ensure optimal camera performance, do not point the camera directly at reflective surfaces, such as glass doors or large white walls, to prevent the camera from producing overexposed, white images.
• The camera is IP65 rated. For proper operation, do not place the camera in bathrooms or other high-humidity, wet areas.
• Comply with local regulations regarding privacy and recording.
• If the camera or cable is damaged, do not continue to use the device! The damaged cable must be replaced!

The Device and Lens

The external surface of the device can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Keep the lens free from scratches and dirt. Use a professional, specially designed fine lens cleaning brush or air blower. Protect the device from dirt even during storage.

Overview

Front View: Shows the front of the camera, including the LED status indicator, lens, microphone, and an adjustable/fixable magnetic mount.

Rear View: Shows the rear of the camera, featuring a speaker, magnetic area, power cable connection, and an adhesive sticker.

Side View: Displays the camera with its magnetic mount, highlighting the Micro SD card slot (accessible after removing the magnetic mount) and the RESET button.

Placement

The camera can be placed on a flat surface such as a table, dining table, or TV stand. It can also be mounted on metal surfaces or non-metal surfaces using the adhesive sticker.

Note: When placing the camera, ensure it is not mounted higher than 2 meters. Verify that the camera is securely placed.

Micro SD Card Insertion

Ensure the camera is turned off. Remove the rubber cover for the Micro SD card slot. Insert the Micro SD card with the contacts facing upwards, as shown in the diagram.

Note: Turn off the camera before inserting or removing the Micro SD card. Use a compatible Micro SD card from a reputable manufacturer and ensure it has a U1/Class 10 or higher speed rating and a capacity not exceeding 32 GB. The camera can be used without a memory card, but no recordings will be made, and the playback function will not be available. Therefore, using a memory card is recommended.

Power On

The camera automatically turns on when you connect the cable and adapter to the micro USB port. When the orange indicator light is on, the device is powered on and waiting to connect.

Status Indicators

• Orange light: Waiting for connection
• Flashing orange: Connecting
• Flashing blue: Connecting to server
• Solid blue: Connected / Normal status

Factory Reset

Using a pointed object (e.g., a needle), press and hold the Reset button until the status indicator lights up orange, and the factory settings are restored.

Note: Data stored on the MicroSD card is not deleted during a factory reset.

Mobile App Installation

When connected to a WiFi network, the device can be controlled remotely from your smartphone using the Xiaomi / Mi Home application. Download and install the application by scanning the QR code or searching in the app store.

Open the application. Tap the '+' button in the upper right corner and add a new device.

Follow the instructions: select the WiFi network you want to connect the device to (enter the network name and password). Follow the on-screen instructions.
