5. Operation Guide
5.1 Fast Operation Guide
After receiving the product, unpack and confirm its condition. Due to the inherent risks of flame machines, follow these operation procedures carefully to ensure safety.
- Installation: The device must be placed horizontally. If mounted on a truss, secure it with extra safety ropes.
- Safety Lock: Locate the safety lock at TEST MODE.
- Fueling: Fuel the machine with high-quality fuel as specified in this manual.
- Power and DMX Cable Connection: Connect the power supply (110V/220V mains or 12V battery) and DMX cable.
- Turn on Power: Ensure the safety lock is in TEST MODE before switching the power ON/OFF.
- Set DMX Address: Set the DMX address. The I FLAMER typically occupies 6 channels.
- Pressure: Activate the "HEAT" function on the host controller. On the DMX console, set DMX value of channel 6 to 50-200.
- Check Device Status in TEST MODE: Confirm the safety lock is in TEST MODE. The nozzle should rotate, and the igniter should activate, but no flame should be produced.
- Pressure Relief: Perform pressure relief if necessary.
- Switch Safety Lock to USER MODE: Before switching to USER MODE, ensure strict adherence to safety distance requirements and clear the danger area of people, animals, and flammable objects.
- Pressuriser: Activate the "HEAT" function on the host controller. On the DMX console, set DMX value of channel 6 to 50-200.
- Firing: Activate the "FIRING" function on the host controller. On the DMX console, set DMX value of channel 3 to 254-255.
- Pressure Relief: Relieve pressure when the show is finished or if the machine will not be used for an extended period.
- Switch Safety Lock to TEST MODE: Switch the safety lock back to TEST MODE to ensure safety for the next use.
- Power Off: Turn off the I FLAMER, disconnect the power and DMX cables, and pack the device once it has cooled down.

6. Machine Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.
- It is recommended to operate the equipment at least once a month to maintain its best performance and status.
- Firing Head Maintenance: The nozzle should be removed for cleaning internal impurities. This should be done approximately every six months, depending on usage environment and frequency. If the machine casing or oil shooting line shows significant deformation or thickening, the firing head should be removed immediately for cleaning.
- O-ring Maintenance: If the O-ring of the nozzle is found to be damaged or aged during cleaning, it should be replaced promptly. The recommended O-ring material is fluoridated rubber, with an outermost diameter of 14 mm and a line diameter of 2 mm.
- Lubrication: To lubricate the pipeline and pump, it is highly recommended to add 10-20ml of castor oil per 10L canister.
- Software: Software can be upgraded using a download cable from SPARK FABRICA.
Diagram Description: The diagram shows a nozzle assembly with an O-ring. It labels the "Nozzle" and the "O-Ring".
