Quick Reading Steps
Best Orientation
Ensure the reader is oriented correctly for optimal scanning. Avoid non-recommended orientations.
Explanation: While a reader scans an EID tag, it creates an electromagnetic field that determines the range and best orientation for a successful reading.
Reading EID Tags:
- Press [arrow-right] to Read.
- Scan the EID tag near the field lines of the reader.
- The device's RGB LED will turn on, along with signalization motors (sound and vibration).
- LED Indicators:
- Flashing slowly: RF is activated, ready to read tags.
- Flashing fast: Tag was successfully read.
- Flashing fast (repeatedly): Tag has been read repeatedly (duplicate).
- The tag information (e.g., '980 0001010178') will be shown on the display screen upon successful read.
- A 'No Tags' message will appear if the reading fails.
Assigning Tags:
- At the home display, press the 'New Group' button.
- Insert Group Name using the direction keys to navigate letters, numbers, or symbols.
- Press 'close' to exit the keyboard and confirm the name by pressing ENTER.
- To assign tags to the group, enter the group and start reading.
Note: After 10,000 records within one group, the device will prompt the user to create a new group.
