Quick Reading Steps

Best Orientation

Ensure the reader is oriented correctly for optimal scanning. Avoid non-recommended orientations.

Explanation: While a reader scans an EID tag, it creates an electromagnetic field that determines the range and best orientation for a successful reading.

Reading EID Tags:

  1. Press [arrow-right] to Read.
  2. Scan the EID tag near the field lines of the reader.
  3. The device's RGB LED will turn on, along with signalization motors (sound and vibration).
  4. LED Indicators:
    • Flashing slowly: RF is activated, ready to read tags.
    • Flashing fast: Tag was successfully read.
    • Flashing fast (repeatedly): Tag has been read repeatedly (duplicate).
  5. The tag information (e.g., '980 0001010178') will be shown on the display screen upon successful read.
  6. A 'No Tags' message will appear if the reading fails.

Assigning Tags:

  1. At the home display, press the 'New Group' button.
  2. Insert Group Name using the direction keys to navigate letters, numbers, or symbols.
  3. Press 'close' to exit the keyboard and confirm the name by pressing ENTER.
  4. To assign tags to the group, enter the group and start reading.

Note: After 10,000 records within one group, the device will prompt the user to create a new group.
