Fire Hazard Never place items in the washer that are dampened with gasoline or other flammable fluids. No washer can completely remove oil. Do not dry anything that has ever had any type of oil on it (including cooking oils). Doing so can result in death, explosion, or fire. QUICK INSTALLATION GUIDE *The washer images in this guide are only illustrative and may differ from the model you acquired. 1 INSTALL THE DRAIN SYSTEM VIDEO AVAILABLE Fasten the hose to the drain port. Don't add extensions. QUICK USE GUIDE 1 ADD DETERGENT AND SOFTENER (FOLLOW MANUFACTURE'S INSTRUCTIONS) 2 ADD BLEACH POWDER DETERGENT SOFTENER VIDEO AVAILABLE DETERGENT, ADD IT TO THE BOTTOM OF THE TUB. 3 4 LOAD CLOTHES EVENLY DISTRIBUTED (CHECK USE AND CARE GUIDE) CLOSE THE LID TO ENSURE THE MAXIMUM WASHING EFFICIENCY AUTO LEVEL® system will determine automatically the amount of water for the dry load that you put in the washer. 5 PRESS THE POWER/CANCEL BUTTON AND SELECT CYCLE AND WASHING OPTIONS 6 PRESS START/PAUSE BUTTON TO START 0.9 m-1.2 m Hose must be at height of 0.9 to 1.2 m from the floor. (Placed at a lower altitude may cause automatic drain). If your washer did not reach the water optimum level, it will finish filling water until reaching it. Lid Lock (NEXT REPEAT FROM STEP 4) HOW TO CHANGE A CYCLE: Press once the POWER/CANCEL button. The water will not be drained, the washer enters in the pause mode which allows to change the cycle. Press START/PAUSE to start the new cycle. If you select "AUTO" option the water previously filled in will be drained automatically to start sensing phase from the AUTO LEVEL® system. HOW TO DRAIN WATER: If you want to drain the water and not reuse it, select cycle Drain press Start/Pause to start draining the water. HO TO TURN OFF YOUR WASHER: Press twice POWER/ CANCEL. PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION The washer does not turn on. (It does nothing). Washer is not filling water. a) There is no power. b) START/PAUSE button was not pressed when closing lid. a) There is not enough pressure in the water supply. b) Washer filters are plugged. c) The lid is open. d) The washer is in the detection phase. a) Check if there is electricity at home and if the outlet of your washer has power. b) Press the START/PAUSE button each time you lift and close the lid. a) Check if there is water in the supply that provides water to the house. b) Clean your washer filters (in some locations water comes with solid particles so filters must be cleaned at least once a month). c) Be sure the lid is closed for an optimal detection. d) Wait until the washer finishes the detection phase (approximately 1 minute). The washer drains water from tub and cancels cycle. The washer is not filling water at the requested level for the clothes load. (Check the user manual for Xpert system information). b) SMART LOAD is only an indicator. c) For a better detection of load size and optimum operation of your washer, insert DRY CLOTHES. d) This cycle is designed for water saving, if you wish use more water when washing, select another cycle. To wash with manual filling, first prepare the washer with clothes and detergent, press the POWER/CANCEL button, select the cycle, press START/PAUSE button, wait 1 minute and then proceed to the manual filling. (See reverse for instructions). a) If you do not wish to use Soak option, cancel the cycle or select another cycle.
