Wall Case Dimensions

Installation Information (In Inches)

A finished opening of 26-1/8" x 15-3/4" clear of intrusions is required. Maintain a clearance of 4" from side walls. For brick veneer or frame walls, wood studding should surround the case to provide firm anchoring with screws. The case can be fastened directly to brick or block walls using screws sunk in lead expansion shields.

Note: Units should be caulked on all four sides of the case to the building exterior to assure building integrity. ?

Wall Case for Tenant Option Installation

When the air conditioner is offered as a tenant option, this wall case provides protection against outside elements. The RAB26A model includes a wall sleeve, exterior grille, steel closure panel, and two layers of insulation.

Standard Wall Sleeve RAB26A

This is a solid-sided wall case fabricated of galvanized steel with a baked enamel finish. Welded areas are coated with a sealing compound to help resist rust and corrosion. A polymer gasket surrounds the opening to assure a tight weather seal. The aluminum grille RAG13A is included. Panels on the interior and between the case and grille provide weather protection prior to installation of the chassis. Provide firm anchoring with screws. The case can be fastened directly to brick or block walls with screws sunk in lead expansion shields.
