Carrier Ultraviolet (UV) Lamps
Your heating and cooling system is essential for maintaining comfort. As air passes through the cooling coil, mold spores, bacteria, and fungi can accumulate on its damp surfaces. This buildup can reduce system performance and release harmful mold spores and unpleasant odors into your home. The Carrier UV lamp is strategically mounted near the cooling coil to target fungus and microbes where they grow. Its intense UV light is designed to kill bacteria and mold on and around the indoor coil, thereby enhancing system efficiency and preventing these contaminants from circulating throughout your home.
