Installation
Put iPad into the Case
To install your iPad from the bottom to the top of the case and fasten it.
Lock the Secure Buckles
The left and right locks are designed to double protect your iPad, in case your iPad accidentally falls.
Note: The buckle is made of plastic, please turn it gently. If there is no buckle design on the side of the keyboard case, please kindly refer to the final version on your hands.
Pencil Holder (for iPad 10.2"/10.5"/10.9"/11")
Available for Apple Pencil 2nd Gen charging when the pencil is ONLY attached to your iPad.
Pencil Holder (for iPad 12.9")
Available for Apple Pencil 2nd Gen charging when the pencil is ONLY attached to your iPad.
Note:
- If there is no pencil holder design on the left side of the keyboard case, please kindly refer to the final version on your hands.
- iPad 8.3-inch is not compatible with pencil holder design.
Power Sources
Power Supply
The keyboard case is charged by TYPE-C.
Power Switch (for iPad 12.9")
Push the power button to turn On/Off your device. The LED will be flashed by 3 times once turn it on or off.
Power Switch (for iPad 8.3"/10.2"/10.5"/10.9"/11")
Holding the POWER button on the keyboard to turn On / Off your device. The LED will be flashed by 3 times once turn it on or off. (Press any keys to wake it up during standby mode)
Note: Keep at normal temperature and charge at normal voltage. If you don't use it for a long time, you need to charge your keyboard in time (once of two months).
LED Indicator (for iPad 12.9")
- LED1: White: Caps mode is On/Off.
- LED2: Green: Battery is Full Charged.
- LED3: Red Flashing: Low-battery Warning. Red Keep Lighting: Charging mode.
- LED4: Blue Flashing: Bluetooth is Waiting for Pairing. Blue Keep Lighting: Bluetooth is Paired.
LED Indicator (for iPad 10.2"/10.5"/10.9"/11")
- LED1: Blue Flashing: Bluetooth is Waiting for Pairing. Blue Keep Lighting: Bluetooth is Paired.
- LED2: White: Caps mode is On/Off.
- LED3: Red Flashing: Low-Battery Warning. Red Keep Lighting: Charging Mode. Green: Battery is full Charged.
LED Indicator (for iPad 8.3")
- LED1: Blue Flashing: Bluetooth is waiting for pairing. Blue Keep Lighting: Bluetooth is paired. Red Flashing: Low-battery warning. Red Keep Lighting: Charging mode. Green: Battery is full charged.
- LED2: White: Caps mode is On/Off.
Bluetooth Connection
Notice Before Connecting:
- Make sure your iPad iOS system is up to 14.6 or above.
- Ensure iPad assistive touch toggle function is on (Settings >> Accessibility >> Touch >> AssistiveTouch).
Steps for Connection (for iPad 10.2"/10.5"/10.9"/11")
- Holding press the power button to turn on the iPad keyboard. (The RGB backlight will turn on and then turn off automatically after a second.)
- Then holding press the connection button; the blue wireless indicator will flash, showing the keyboard is waiting for pairing mode.
- Turn on your iPad >> Setting >> Bluetooth, and search for "ipad-keyboard" on the list, then tap it for connection.
Steps for Connection (for iPad 8.3"/12.9")
- For iPad 12.9": Push the power button to turn on the iPad keyboard.
- For iPad 8.3": Holding press the power button to turn on the iPad keyboard. (The RGB backlight will turn on and then turn off automatically after a second.)
- Then press combination keys "Fn" and "C" together; the blue wireless indicator will flash, showing the keyboard is waiting for pairing mode.
- Turn on your iPad >> Setting >> Bluetooth, and search for "ipad-keyboard" on the list, then tap it for connection.
Note:
- Device is connected when the Bluetooth indicator stops flashing.
- When the keyboard is turned on, if there is no signal input for more than 10 minutes, it will automatically enter sleep mode. At this time, you only need to double-click any button to re-activate the keyboard again. (Do not need to turn on/off the power and reconnect again)
- When reconnecting Bluetooth, the touchpad will have a slight delay of about 3 seconds, which is normal, because the touchpad needs to retrieve Bluetooth and connect to it.

Note: Switch language input method (Note: Wubi input method is not supported). Any letter can be typed with some special characters.
RGB Backlight Keys:
- Fn + [power key]: Turn the backlight on or off, or adjust the brightness of the backlight.
- Fn + [color key]: Backlight color switching.
Note: For power saving, if you don't touch the keyboard for 5 seconds, the backlight will go off automatically; it will light up again when you press any key.
Trackpad Gesture Description
One Finger
- Tap: Press with one finger until it feels a little bit.
- Tap and hold: Press and hold with one finger.
- Drag: Tap and hold the item, then slide your finger on the touchpad to move it.
- Open the Dock: Swipe the pointer across the bottom of the screen with one finger.
- Go to the home screen: When the dock appears, swipe the pointer across the bottom of the screen again.
- Open "Notification Center": Move the pointer to the status icon in the upper left corner of the screen with one finger, then tap or swipe up again with one finger.
- Open "Control Center": Move the pointer to the status icon in the upper right corner of the screen with one finger, then tap or swipe up again with one finger.
Double Fingers
- Auxiliary tap: Move the cursor to the APP icon with one finger, then tap or tap with two fingers to open the APP menu.
- Scroll up or down: Swipe up or down with two fingers.
- Scroll left or right: Swipe left or right with two fingers.
- Turn on the Today view: When the home screen or lock screen is visible, swipe right with two fingers.
- Open search from the home screen: Swipe down with two fingers.
- Zoom: Place two fingers close together, spread to zoom in, or pinch to zoom out.
Three Fingers
- Go to the home screen: Swipe up with three fingers.
- Open the APP switcher: Swipe up with three fingers, pause, and then lift your finger.
- Switch between open apps: Swipe right with three fingers, then swipe left or right to switch.
Be sure that touchpad can be used on your iPad as below steps:
- You need to complete below settings: Settings >> Accessibility >> Touch >> AssistiveTouch >> Assistive Touch On.
- Make sure your iPad Software Version is up to 14.6 or above version.
- Choose right "Keyboard" on your iPad: General >> Keyboard >> Keyboards >> English(US)/QWERTY.
Note: The second setting only can be set after the keyboard connects to your iPad successfully.
Trouble Shooting
How to confirm the keyboard need to be charged?
- When the low battery indicator (red sign) blinks, please use the included TYPE-C cable with your iPad charger to recharge it. The red indicator stays on during recharging. After the charging completed, the green indicator would light up.
- If you do not use the keyboard for a long time, please recharge your keyboard in time (once of two months).
How to detect the battery level of the keyboard or ensure that the battery level has been successfully charged?
- If the LED charging indicator lights up in red for a long time, it means that is charging.
- After the keyboard is successfully connected to the iPad, swipe right on the iPad home screen. The keyboard battery life is subjected to the Bluetooth icon.
How to do if the keyboard can't connect to your iPad?
- Make sure a keyboard has already paired via Bluetooth.
- The Bluetooth keyboard is charged.
- The Bluetooth keyboard is within 33 feet.
- Please delete all devices on your iPad Bluetooth list, then restart your iPad Bluetooth and restart the keyboard.
- Not compatible with multiple device connections, only supports one by one connection.
- When the battery is low, the Bluetooth connection may be interrupted.
How to press symbol buttons?
After Bluetooth connected well, just press combination Keys: "Shift" and "any symbol". For example, "Shift" and "@" then you will get "@" on your iPad.
How to change between lowercase and uppercase on the keyboard?
- The caps lock default function is switch languages. So to type capital letters on the keyboard, please turn off the cap lock default function first.
- Go to your iPad settings >> Keyboards setting >> Hardware keyboard >> turn off the toggle of "switch languages using caps lock", then you can change between lowercase and uppercase by pressing the caps lock key.
How to do if the space bar doesn't work?
- You can try below settings firstly: Settings >> Accessibility >> Keyboards >> Full Keyboard Access >> Commands.
- Then change settings for "Space" from "activate" to "Clear". If it comes back, then you can also turn off full keyboard access.
- Once it is cleared, the space bar would work fine.
How to do if some keys don't work?
Some of the keys do not work, please try to reset the keyboard by pressing and holding the combination key "L+S+Z" for 3s, you'll see the indicator flash once. It shows the keyboard has been reset. After resetting the keyboard, please pair the keyboard with your iPad again.
If there is delay after you press keys, please kindly check one of iPad Settings as below:
- Settings >> Accessibility >> Keyboards >> Slow Keys Off
- Settings >> Accessibility >> Keyboards >> Slow Keys On 0.1 Seconds
If there is repeated characters after you press certain key, please kindly check one of iPad Settings as below:
- Settings >> Accessibility >> Keyboards >> Key Repeat On 0.1 Seconds
- Settings >> Accessibility >> Keyboards >> Key Repeat Off

- You need to complete below settings: Settings >> Accessibility >> Touch >> AssistiveTouch >> Assistive Touch On.
- Make sure your iPad Software Version is up to 14.6 or above version.
- Choose right "Keyboard" on your iPad: General >> Keyboard >> Keyboards >> English(US)/QWERTY.
Note: The second setting only can be set after keyboard connects to you iPad successfully.
How to updating your iPadOS to 14.6?
To upgrade your iPadOS to the latest version:
- Open your device's Settings >> General >> Software Update.
- Tap Download and Install.
If you see Resume Download, tap that instead.
If you have unwanted auto-correction or punctuation, please follow these steps:
- Open Settings app >> General >> Keyboard >> Hardware Keyboard.
- Toggle OFF Auto-Capitalization, Auto-Correction, and "." shortcut.
