Mode Setting and Pairing
The Crush80 supports Wired, 2.4GHz Wireless, and Bluetooth connectivity.
- Wired Connection: Insert the USB-C cable into the keyboard and connect the other end to the computer. Ensure the [Battery Switch] is in the "OFF" position when using wired mode for extended periods to prevent automatic switching to 2.4GHz mode.
- 2.4GHz Wireless Connection: Insert the 2.4GHz receiver into the computer's USB port. Use [Fn Key] + [Tab Key] to switch to 2.4GHz mode (indicated by the '4' key blinking green). The key will stay steadily lit when the connection is successful.
- Bluetooth Connection: Use [Fn Key] + [Tab Key] to switch to Bluetooth mode (indicated by keys 1, 2, or 3 blinking blue). Long press [Fn Key] + [1!/2@/3#] to initiate pairing (icons blink orange). The Bluetooth pairing names are "Crush80-1," "Crush80-2," and "Crush80-3." Press [Fn Key] + [1!/2@/3#] to connect to the corresponding paired device.
Pairing Process: The pairing search time is 1 minute. Long-press [Fn Key] + [1!/2@/3#/4$] to increase pairing time. If no successful connection occurs within 1 minute of inactivity, the keyboard enters sleep mode.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- Q: Why is my [Windows Key] not working?
A: If the [Windows Key] is locked by pressing [Fn Key] + [Windows Key], it cannot be used. Press [Fn Key] + [Windows Key] again to unlock it. - Q: Why have my [Windows Key] and [Alt Key] swapped, and my F1-F12 keys become non-responsive or turned into function keys?
A: After long-pressing [Fn Key] + [M Key] for 3 seconds, the keyboard switches to MAC mode. In this mode, on a Windows system, the [Windows Key] and [Alt Key] swap positions, and the F1-F12 keys function as standard function keys. To switch back to Windows mode, long-press [Fn Key] + [M Key] for 3 seconds again.
Other Notes
- When using the wired mode for an extended period, switch the [Battery Switch] to "OFF." If the switch remains "ON," the keyboard will automatically switch to 2.4GHz mode after disconnecting the cable.
- The pairing process for both 2.4GHz and Bluetooth modes is indicated by slow flashing lights. Bluetooth uses 1!/2@/3# flashing blue, and 2.4GHz mode uses 4$ flashing green. Once connected successfully, the indicator lights return to their normal backlight status.
- The Bluetooth/2.4GHz pairing search time is set to 1 minute. You can increase the time by long-pressing [Fn Key] + [1!/2@/3#/4$]. If no successful connection occurs within 1 minute of inactivity, the keyboard will enter sleep mode.
