  • DO NOT attempt to ride up or down stairs with steps taller than 3 cm or jump over obstacles. Avoid obstacle jumps; anticipate and adapt speed to pedestrians. Dismount for obstacles that pose a risk due to shape, height, or slippage.

10. Battery and Charger

Each scooter includes a battery and charger. Use only the provided charger and battery. Using other manufacturers' products may cause damage, for which E-TWOW is not responsible. Each model has a dedicated charger.

The charger should only be used indoors at temperatures between 0-35°C.

Battery: The battery can withstand at least 500 charging cycles (over 1,000 with normal use). For the first use, fully charge the battery. A new battery requires at least 3 charging cycles to become fully functional. Charge the battery whenever possible, and avoid traveling with less than 50% charge.

WARNING! Use only the provided charger. Do not connect the charger if the charge port or cable is wet. Close the charging port cover when not charging. Avoid using the charger outdoors in unfavorable weather (sleet, rain, snow).

For extended periods of non-use, charge the battery every three months to maintain optimal condition and prolong its life.

The battery must be replaced by qualified personnel. It must be removed before scrapping the scooter, with the scooter disconnected from the mains. Dispose of the battery safely.

Charger: The charger has a protection function that stops charging when the battery reaches 100%. Damage from diving, collisions, or other abnormal factors is not covered by warranty.

Charging Instructions: Connect the charger to the socket, open the charging port cover, and insert the plug into the scooter's port. The power light is red while charging and turns green when fully charged. The scooter is not intended for use while charging.

11. Cleaning

WARNING! Ensure the scooter is off, disconnected from power, and the charging port cover is sealed before cleaning or maintenance.

Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth for the main frame. For stubborn dirt, use a soft brush followed by a damp cloth. Polish scratches on plastic parts with fine abrasive paper.

WARNING! Do not use alcohol, gasoline, acetone, or other corrosive solvents. Do not wash with a hose or pressure cleaner. Do not use sharp objects.

12. Storage and Maintenance

Store the scooter in a dry place with constant temperatures between 10-30°C. Avoid prolonged exposure to UV rays, rain, or extreme temperatures, which can damage materials and shorten battery life. Store indoors when not in use.

Regular maintenance is crucial for safety. Besides cleaning, perform regular checks:

  • Check screws and grease moving parts monthly with a silicone-Vaseline grease spray.

WARNING! Vehicles are subject to stress and wear. Components may fail if their service life is exceeded. Inspect the frame, fork, and suspension attachments regularly for cracks, scratches, or discoloration, which indicate the need for replacement.

Check and eliminate sharp edges. Monthly, ensure screws are not loose. Before each use, verify that security elements are in good operating condition: front and rear wheel axles are tight; folding axle, height adjustment knob, and handle lock are in place; rear mechanical brake, headlight, rear stop light, and brake light are working.

Wear parts replacement should only be done by a certified E-TWOW technician. Self-tightening fasteners may need retightening. The standard screw tightening torque is 20 N/m for fixed parts. Adjusting elements are accessible only to authorized technicians. Contact your nearest dealer or visit www.e-twow.com for parts.

13. Troubleshooting

Error Codes:

  • E1 – Overcurrent Protection: Appears when the scooter is accelerated and the engine is limited to function for more than 4 seconds. Clears when the acceleration lever is released.
