Aluminum Foil (For Ovens Only)
IMPORTANT: To avoid permanent damage to the oven bottom finish, do not line the oven bottom with any type of foil or liner.
Wire rack, toast pan, air fry basket, and probe (on some models) are supplied with the oven. Aluminum foil for shielding may be used with the following guidelines:
- For best cooking results, do not cover the entire rack with foil, as air must move freely.
- To catch spills, place foil on the rack below the dish. Ensure the foil is at least 1/2" (1.3 cm) larger than the dish and turned up at the edges.
Oven Vent(s)
The microwave oven vent(s) are flush with the cabinet and open automatically when operating. They should not be blocked or covered as they allow fresh air into the cooling system. The bottom vent also allows fresh air in and hot air out of the cooling system. Blocking or covering vents will result in poor air circulation, affecting cooking, cleaning, and cooling performance.
