Remote control and control panel and display
The remote control uses a button cell battery, type CR2025 (3V). To remove the battery carriage, use your thumb to squeeze the release tab on the right and pull the carriage out. Insert the battery into the carriage and slide it back into the remote. It is recommended to use a Lithium-ion battery for longer use. Follow battery disposal instructions on the packaging or contact your local safety council for proper disposal.
Before using the remote control, remove the insulating film as shown in the diagram. All functions performed with the remote control work identically to the unit's control panel.

CAUTION
- Use according to the rated voltage.
- Do not repair or modify the appliance yourself; it must be repaired by qualified personnel.
- Do not operate the appliance with wet hands to avoid damage.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord or assembly available from the manufacturer or its service agents.

- Do not insert objects into the air outlets and inlets to avoid damage.
- Do not use the appliance near explosive or combustible gases.
- Use the appliance only on a flat surface.
- Do not use outdoors.
- The water level in the water tank should not exceed the "MAX" scale at any time. When humidifying, the total water level should be at the "MIN" scale.
- After adding water to the water tank, do not tilt or knock over the appliance when moving it. If you need to move it, tilt it slightly to avoid spilling water.
- Do not turn the appliance upside down. If it topples over and water is in the body, unplug the power supply immediately and send it for repair or overhaul.
- Do not place objects on the appliance and do not cover the air vents. WARNING: Do not cover the heater to avoid overheating.
- Clean the exterior with a lightly damp cloth. Do not use detergents or solutions. Do not rinse with water.
- Do not place air outlets and inlets near walls or curtains.
- Do not knock or shake the body during use, as this may cause it to stop.
- The water in the water tank can easily become stagnant in summer; renew the water frequently.

STORAGE & MAINTENANCE GUIDELINES
WARNING: Always switch OFF the Air Cooler and unplug it from the electrical source before cleaning or maintenance. Clean at least once a week by draining the water tank completely and refilling with fresh water. This will help reduce mineral deposits and extend the life of the water pad. For end-of-season storage, if the Air Cooler will not be used for an extended period:
Ensure all parts are dry by running the Fan Only mode for about 30 minutes (time depends on ambient humidity conditions). Switch OFF the Air Cooler and unplug it from the power supply. Empty and drain all water from the tank. Clean the water tank with a damp cloth to remove dust or mineral deposits. Remove the water pad from the Air Cooler and rinse it under fresh water to remove dust and dirt (do not rub the mesh with your hand to avoid deformation). Reinstall the water pad into the unit. See Figure A. To protect the unit from dust and scratches, cover it with a clean cloth or plastic bag before storing. Coil the power cord and store it away from the floor.
A loose fit between the AC outlet and plug may cause the plug to overheat. If the plug overheats, the fuse inside the power cord plug might blow.
If your fuse access cover is located on the side of the plug:
- Grasp the plug and remove it from the receptacle or outlet device. Do not pull the cord to unplug.
- Select a suitable tool, such as a small flat screwdriver or travel scissors.
- To open the fuse cover, slide the fuse access cover on top of the attachment plug towards the blades (see Figure 1).
- Carefully remove the fuse by prying it out (see Figure 2).
- Risk of fire: Using the wrong fuse rating can cause a fire. Replace the fuse only with a 5 Amp, 125 Volt rated fuse.
- To close the fuse access cover, slide the access cover on top of the attachment plug to close it (see Figure 3).
[Illustration: Figure 1 shows sliding the fuse cover open. Figure 2 shows prying out the fuse. Figure 3 shows sliding the fuse cover closed.]
If your fuse access cover is located on the face of the plug:
- Grasp the plug and remove it from the receptacle or outlet device. Do not pull the cord to unplug.
- Select a suitable tool, such as a small flat screwdriver or travel scissors.
- To open the fuse cover, press down with the tool and then pry off the protection door from the face of the plug (see Figure #1).
- Continue to remove the protection door until you can access the fuse below (see Figure #2).
- Carefully remove the fuse by prying it out.
- Risk of fire: Using the wrong fuse rating can cause a fire. Replace the fuse only with a 5 Amp, 125 Volt rated fuse.
- To close the fuse cover, push the protection door back onto the face of the plug and press it securely into place.
CLEANING & DRAINING THE WATER TANK
If the cooler will not be used for a long period, refer to the STORAGE & MAINTENANCE GUIDELINES in the separate Safety & Maintenance Guide.
WARNING: Before cleaning, switch the unit OFF and disconnect it from the electrical socket. Unscrew the water pump knob, pull out the water tank, clean the water tank, and reinsert it. Screw the water pump knob back onto the water pump. See Figure B.
Refill the water tank with clean water and drain it completely. Refill the water tank with clean water up to the maximum level. Use a damp cloth to remove dirt and dust from the unit's surface. Never use corrosive elements or chemicals to clean this product. When the product is not in use, store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight.
