Wiring and Connections
KTF0155A / KTF0163A: Electric Floor Heating (16A)
This model is for electric floor heating systems with a 16A load. It features connections for power (L1, N1, N) and an NTC sensor.
Four-Wire Connection Diagram Description
The diagram shows connections for power source (L, N), heating cable (L, N), and an NTC sensor. L1 and N1 are internal conductors.
KTF0155B / KTF0163B: Water Heater (3A)
This model is for water heaters with a 3A load. It allows control of normally closed (NC) or normally open (NO) actuators.
Note: The NTC sensor does not need to be connected by default.
Three-Wire Connection (NC Actuator)
Connect the normally closed (NC) actuator to terminals 2 and 3. The power source (L, N) connects to terminals 1 and 5. The diagram shows L to 1, N to 5, and the NC actuator between 2 and 3.
Three-Wire Connection (NO Actuator)
Connect the normally open (NO) actuator to terminals 1 and 3. The power source (L, N) connects to terminals 5 and 6. The diagram shows L to 5, N to 6, and the NO actuator between 1 and 3.
KTF0155C / KTF0163C: Boiler Water and Gas (3A)
This model is for controlling boilers (water and gas) with a 3A load. It offers three connection methods:
Notes: Terminals 1, 2, 3 form a wet contact. Terminals 5, 6 form a dry contact.
Option 1: Boiler Control Only
Connect the boiler using the dry contact terminals (5 and 6). The power source (L, N) connects to terminals 3 and 4.
Option 2: Boiler and Actuator Linkage Control
This mode allows for controlling both the boiler and an actuator.
NC Actuator Wiring
Connect the normally closed (NC) actuator and the boiler via the dry contact terminals (5 and 6). The power source (L, N) connects to terminals 3 and 4.
NO Actuator Wiring
Connect the normally open (NO) actuator and the boiler via the dry contact terminals (5 and 6). The power source (L, N) connects to terminals 3 and 4.
Option 3: Actuator Control Only
This configuration is identical to the KTF0155B/KTF0163B models, controlling an actuator via terminals 1, 2, and 3.
External Sensor
A 2.5m external sensor is included with the KTF0155A and KTF0163A models.
WiFi Connection
Step 1: App Setup
Enable Bluetooth on your mobile phone. Connect your phone to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. Scan the QR code provided to download and install the 'smart life' application and create an account.
For manual device addition: Tap '+' (refer to Fig2 in original document), then navigate to 'Small home Appliance' -> 'Thermostat (BLE+wifi)' (refer to Fig5) to complete the device addition process (refer to Fig6).
Step 2: Pairing Mode Activation
Press and hold the (SET) and OK buttons simultaneously until the indicator lights flash (refer to Fig1).
Step 3: Device Search and Connection
Tap '+' -> 'add device' -> 'search device' (refer to Fig2). The thermostat will be automatically detected and displayed in the application. Follow the on-screen instructions step-by-step to finalize the connection (refer to Fig3, Fig4).
Troubleshooting WiFi Connection
If the application fails to connect using your primary WiFi router, try using another mobile phone to create a WiFi hotspot. Then, connect your original phone to this hotspot and attempt to reconnect the thermostat.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1: Compatibility with Old Thermostat?
Ensure your junction boxes have separate neutral and live wires. Boilers controlled by a passive switch (dry contact) are generally compatible. For specific compatibility checks, please send your thermostat information to info@cnketotek.com.
Q2: Connecting to a Wall-Mounted Boiler?
For the KTF0155C, use interfaces 5 and 6 to connect to the boiler. Interfaces 3 and 4 are for the N and L power wires. Interfaces 5 and 6 function as dry contacts and do not output voltage; they simply switch the boiler on and off.
Q3: Can it Replace a 2-Wire Thermostat?
No, this thermostat requires a separate L (live) and N (neutral) power supply and cannot replace a standard 2-wire thermostat.
Q4: Cannot Connect to WiFi?
Troubleshooting Steps:
- Ensure the 'smart life' APP is downloaded, your phone's Bluetooth is enabled, your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz WiFi signal, your phone is connected to that 2.4GHz WiFi, and the thermostat's indicator light is flashing.
- If issues persist, try using another mobile phone to create a WiFi hotspot. Connect your primary phone to this hotspot and then attempt to reconnect the thermostat.
Q5: Temperature Reading Inaccurate?
The default temperature calibration value for the probe is -1°C. You can adjust this setting within the application's parameters for greater accuracy.
Q6: Device Not Powering On or Screen Display Incomplete?
If you have confirmed a hardware failure, please contact the after-sales service department for assistance.
