Introduction
The Tait TB9400 Base Station/Repeater is a robust, state-of-the-art digital fixed station designed for reliable high-performance operation. It combines Tait's expertise in software-based configurability, digital signal processing, and voice-over-IP technology.
This manual provides comprehensive information for experienced technicians on the installation, operation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the TB9400. It supports various network types, including Project 25 (P25) trunked, trunked simulcast, P25 conventional, and analog conventional simulcast or non-simulcast multi-site networks. The TB9400 is capable of P25 Phase 1 FDMA and P25 Phase 2 TDMA operations.
With its integrated Ethernet interface, the TB9400 offers built-in network connectivity, enabling it to form channel groups with other TB9400 base stations. This facilitates voice-over-IP communication and remote management of all base stations via a web browser.
