Feature Descriptions
Omada Wi-Fi 7 Technology: Swifter, Smoother, Stronger
Omada EAP720-Wall utilizes Wi-Fi 7 technologies including Multi-Link Operation, Multi-RUs, and 4K-QAM to enhance throughput, connection stability, and concurrent capacity, providing faster and higher quality connections.
Higher Efficiency with 4K-QAM: Wi-Fi 7 uses 12 bits/symbol for 20% more data transmission compared to Wi-Fi 6's 10 bits/symbol.
Higher Reliability and Speeds with MLO: Multi-Link Operation (MLO) allows devices to connect to multiple frequency bands simultaneously.
Lower Latency with Multi-RUS: Multi-RU (Resource Unit) allocation in Wi-Fi 7 reduces latency by allowing different users to utilize different parts of the channel.
Compact Design for Flexible Deployment
The EAP720-Wall's elegant and compact square profile (3.4 x 3.4 x 0.9 inches) fits standard EU and 86mm wall junction boxes, enabling flexible and visually unobtrusive installation.
2.5G PoE Ports for Optimized Wired Performance
With 2.5G PoE input and output ports, the EAP720-Wall offers multi-gigabit performance for higher bandwidth and faster Wi-Fi. Wired devices, like IP phones, can be powered directly through the Ethernet cable.
Easy Setup via Omada Software-defined Networking (SDN)
The Omada SDN platform enables effortless network setup with auto device discovery and one-click adoption of the EAP720-Wall via the Omada app or web interface.
Boosted Network Security
Features include a secure guest network with up to 16 SSIDs, SMS login for enhanced authentication, WPA3 encryption, and rogue AP detection for secure network experiences.
Cloud-Based Centralized Management
Integrates seamlessly with Omada switches, gateways, and controllers for end-to-end visibility, automated optimization, zero-touch provisioning, and batch configuration through a single cloud interface.
