NOTES
Before beginning install, remove any debris from non-metallic floor box. Follow manufacturer's instructions to secure conduit and pull wire thru
If you are using data port and data/low-volt cables, you must ensure you are using a non-metallic box with required data divider
COVER AND LEVELING or ADAPTER RING
Our cover is designed to work with many "standard" leveling rings & their associated non-metallic boxes on the market.
Please ensure you verify fit of our cover plate to your leveling or adapter ring and associated floor box before install.
INSTALLATION
- Ensure equipment is grounded through green screw on leveling/adapter ring (A). If required with your ring, connect a grounding jumper wire from ring lug (A) to device (G) screw.
- Fasten device to leveling/adapter ring using screws included with receptacle (sold separately).
- Follow Device Installation and Wiring instructions shown in Figure 2.
- Place metal support plate, gasket(s), and plastic cover plate over receptacle and fasten using #6-32 screw (feed cat5 cable through data holes before fastening if using CANTEX ring and cable is pre-terminated).
- Fasten plastic cover plate to leveling ring using 3 provided screws #8-32.
- Apply small bead of clear silicone type RTV sealant to underside flange of cover plate to seal out scrub water.
- Insert Assembled leveling ring, device and cover plate into the floor box, pressing snug with floor.

INSTALLATION DRAWING
The drawing illustrates the components for installing the floor box cover. It shows an exploded view of the assembly:
- Top: Two screws for attaching the cover plate.
- Middle: Cover Plate, Gasket, Gasket Support Plate.
- Below: Receptacle, Leveling Ring, Box.
- Side: A diagram labeled 'A' shows the leveling ring with a lug for grounding.
- A separate callout indicates "ITEMS SOLD SEPARATELY" for the Box and Receptacle.

WARRANTY
Adamax warrants to the Purchaser that the Newhouse Electric by Adamax products sold will be free from defects in workmanship or material under normal use and service for a period of 1 year when stored, installed, operated or maintained in accordance with recommendations of Adamax and standard industry practice and when used under proper and normal use. Adamax does not cover ordinary wear and tear, abuse, misuse, overloading, altered products, systems, or materials not of its own manufacture. Adamax shall in no event be responsible or liable for modifications, alterations, misapplication or repairs made to its products by the Purchaser or others, or for damage caused thereto by negligence, accident or improper use by the Purchaser or others. This warranty does not include reimbursement for the expenses of labor, transportation, removal or reinstallation of the products.

IN NO EVENT AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL ADAMAX INC BE LIABLE TO THE PURCHASER OR TO ANY OTHER PERSON FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL LOSSES OR DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGE TO OR LOSS OF USE OF ANY PRODUCT, LOST SALES, OR PROFITS, OR DELAY OR FAILURE TO PERFORM ITS WARRANTY OBLIGATION, OR CLAIMS OF THIRD PARTIES AGAINST THE PURCHASER, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALE, INSTALLATION, USE OF, INABILITY TO USE, OR THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF, ADAMAX's PRODUCTS. As stated herein, the term "person" shall include, without limitation, any individual proprietorship, partnership, corporation or entity.
