Safety and Usage Notes
1. Before using your Ice Bath MAX Chiller/Heater unit, please read this instruction manual carefully.
2. Never install the unit in a closed room with limited air volume or close to shrubbery that might block the air inlet. Such locations impair the continuous supply of fresh air, may reduce the running efficiency and possibly prevent sufficient heat output.
3. Never clean your MAX PRO Chiller/Heater unit with strong bleach-based detergents.
4. To empty your MAX PRO Chiller/Heater unit, use the drain tap located near the bottom of the unit. Take care with the drain tap, don't force it and make sure it is fully closed after use.
5. Though not essential, to ensure a long service life and for hygiene purposes, we recommend draining, cleaning and drying your Chiller/Heater unit every two to three weeks.
6. Before connecting the machine, make sure that the supply voltage matches the operating machine's voltage. There's RCD plug that equipped with power cable; it helps to offer a full electrical protection.

Always make sure the power plug is secured. If the plug is not

secure, it may cause an electric shock, over-heating or fire

ICE BATH MAX CHILLER/HEATER

Connecting Your Chiller/Heater with your Ice Bath MAX (2/2)

1.You can now fill your Ice Bath MAX with 'cold water' using a hose until the water is roughly 15 cm (6 inches) below the underside of the top ring (not more than full). Make sure the water level is above the top inlet of the Ice Bath MAX.
2.Plug in and switch on the chiller. Check for leakage and verify that water is flowing incoming and outgoing to the ice bath tub.(Please see page 10 if you encounter problems)
3.Press the `run' key on the control panel. The machine will start up setting the target temperature. After a few minutes, check whether the air blowing out of the unit is hot. If it is, it means it to working correctly.
4.Once the chiller has finished its priming cycle it will start to chill and filter the water within a few minutes.
5.It can take up to 3-4hrs to chill the water from 65°F down to a frosty 37°C. 6.Once the desired temperature is reached, switch off the Chiller/Heater Unit
before starting your cold water therapy session.

Common Problems with Initial Set Up
When you first start using the unit, please pay attention to the water level in the bathtub and the relative position of the filter. There might be strange noises coming from the machine and the water circulation may not run properly. This is due to the presence of air in the water pipes that need to be
expelled. If you encounter this issue, please use this solution to resolve the problem. .

1. When the water level in the ice bucket is lower than the height of the machine's water inlet, the water

cannot flow into the machine.

2.

Fill the ICE BATH MAX with enough water to exceed the height of the machine's water inlet.

3. Slightly loosen the filter bottle to create a gap for air to escape. Turn on the machine, allowing water to enter the filter, and air to be pushed out
through the gap.

4. Once the water out let flow is sufficient, the machine will operate normally. You can then retighten the filter bottle and the lid.
The initial air purging process can take up to 5 minutes

10

Common Problems with Initial Set Up
Try the following if the initial air purging process does not work.
a. Solution 2: Power off the chiller/heater. Place a hose into the tub at the lower tub inlet. The head of the hose and the inlet should be `connected'. Turn on the hose and run the water through the tubes. Continue this process until you see bubbles air come out of the upper inlet tube into the tube. Run the hose like this for 5 minutes and retest.
b. Solution 3: Turn off the unit. Remove the filter and run the unit. If the unit starts to run correctly, replace the filter and run it again.

Fault Code Analysis and Solutions
