DataLocker Sentry 5 - Encrypted Flash Drive

Getting Started

  1. Plug the secure USB drive into your computer:

    • Wait for up to 30 seconds.
    • No need to restart your computer.
    • Drive letters may vary depending on your computer.

    The drive may appear as [D:] Unlocker.

  2. Double-click and run the Unlocker application:

    • For Windows: Navigate through Start > This PC > Unlocker > Unlocker.
    • For Mac: Navigate through Finder > Unlocker > Unlocker.
  3. Follow the steps in the Unlocker software when prompted.

    • The device is managed by SafeConsole. You will need to follow the specific steps provided by your administrator or organization to complete the setup. DataLocker cannot provide your organization-specific details.
    • The SafeConsole device control license is sold separately.
  4. After unlocking the device, your secure storage will mount/connect and become accessible.

    • You can move your important files to the [E:] PRIVATE USB drive, and they will be automatically encrypted.
  5. The Sentry 5 locks automatically when it is unplugged, powered down, times out, or when you log out from the menu.
