Introduction & Safety
This manual provides essential instructions for the Graco SlimFit 3-in-1 Car Seat. Proper installation and use are critical for child safety. Always read and understand the manual before installing or using the car seat. Failure to do so can increase the risk of serious injury or death in a crash.
Key Safety Warnings:
- Never place a rear-facing child restraint in a seating position with an active front air bag.
- Children are safest in rear seating positions.
- Ensure the car seat is installed tightly, moving no more than 1 inch (2.5 cm) at the belt path.
- Always secure the car seat with a vehicle seat belt or lower anchor attachment, even when unoccupied.
- Replace the car seat if it has been in a crash.
Modes of Use
The Graco SlimFit offers three modes of use:
- Rear-Facing: For children 5-40 lb (2.3-18 kg). Must be used rear-facing for infants under 22 lb (10 kg) or less than 1 year old.
- Forward-Facing: For children 22-65 lb (10-30 kg) and up to 49 inches (125 cm).
- Booster Mode: For children 40-100 lb (18.1-45 kg), 43-57 inches (110.1-145 cm), and at least 4 years old.
Always consult the manual and your vehicle owner's manual for specific weight and height limits for each mode.
Installation & Features
The car seat can be installed using either the vehicle seat belt or the LATCH system (Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children). Only one method should be used at a time.

- Adjustable headrest and harness system for a proper fit.
- Level indicator to ensure correct recline angle.
- Secure harness and buckle system.
- Cup holder for convenience.

Care & Maintenance
The seat pad, body pillow, and headrest pillow can be cleaned with mild soap and cool water. Specific instructions for machine washing are provided. The harness, lower anchor, and tether straps should only be surface washed with a damp cloth; do not immerse them in water.
